If we are wanting passes for DLR for 7 days what would be our best option? (I know DLR doesn't offer more than 6 day passes)

We were able to add a day to our 6 day ticket. We just went to the guest relations booth (not sure of the exact name) outside the parks. It cost around $4 a ticket to upgrade.

AP's are probably the way to go if you want 7 days. The upgrade has been $10/ticket in the past.

Not sure where you are from but in here in Canada we are able to get 7 and 8 day hopper passes. I got mine from my travel agent but Flightcentre also carries them. They are a very big company up here and many Dis'ers have used them in the past. Have a great time!:)

Since they no longer sell 7 day passes, you can't upgrade a 6 to a 7. Flightcentre in Canada is the only way. I have heard of non-Canadians ordering them online and being able to use them. I think the price difference is $35 for the 7th day.

Annual pass might pay for itself in that you get 10% off EVERY purchase in the park. Meals, snacks, souvenirs......

(I wasn't paying attention to when you are traveling though, so you do have to consider block out days if you go that route)

I got looking at a CityPass that had 3 days at Disney (hopper) then 3 days else where

it seems that alot of people feel that 3 days is enough at Disneyland -- I have never been so I can't really say - I wonder if you could get the citypass & add another day to it - really dn't know just what popped into my head while reading this

I know it is a Zoo & Unversival(sp??) for 2 of the other days - the 3 one was something else I thought would be fun but we are heading to FL & not CA so looking was all I did

just google citypass & it comes up - several other cities do it too

Here's what we're planning to do while in So Cal.
-Take in A dodgers game
-Maybe go to San Diego Zoo
-Go around Hollywood
-Going to DLR all 7 Days (We're not commandos so we won't be there all the time)
Also we are from Illinois so we can't get the Canadian passes.

It's been posted that anyone can purchase from flight centre.
Offhand, do you know whether or not the 7-day tickets from FlightCentre are upgradable? My AP just expired this week, and we're going for 7 days this fall, but probably won't know until we get there whether or not we want to upgrade since we're planning on doing WDW in 2012 and perhaps not as much DLR if we don't have the AP's, lots of other factors like a potential move back to NorCal thrown in that (hopefully) we'll know more about when we travel. I'd like to get the 7 day but still have the option to upgrade to an AP when we're there ...

You can add days to a CityPass. The city pass will give you a credit that is currently $186 toward the ticket or pass you want to buy.

The Socal City Pass offers a 3 day DL PH, 1 day Universal ticket, a Seaworld Ticket, and a choice of the San Diego Zoo or Safari Park.

www.citypass.com or to the Socal page http://www.citypass.com/southern-california, It works great if you are planning to see all of those attractions in a trip.

I wouldn't worry about the 7 days in DL. Remember with any multiday ticket, you have 14 consectuative days to use it over. So you could start there and end(more imporant IMO) there too. But that will let you blend other activities in.

We were able to upgrade from 6 to 7 days in March 2011. My husband checked our credit card receipt, and it was $12 total ($4 per ticket). We hadn't been sure we'd be able to do it, but we asked anyway and were able to. We bought our original tickets through the Disney website.
