Disneyland 2008 certificates yet?

Has anyone received their Disneyland Finishers Certificates yet?

Just making sure I didn't miss it since we had our mail held when we went down for EE5K and man I had a pretty good finishing time for DL so definitely want THAT one

I came home and found the newsletter from Disneyland saying they will be mailed in November. Whew!

It was such a great time at DL and now I am all geeked for January to get here

The Great Watch for Certificates has been delayed till next month which leaves plenty of time for miles, weights and pumpkin carving

Mine arrived! Seeing my improved finish time reminds me that when I weigh less I walk/run faster. Please someone whack me and get me back on the nutritional straight-and-narrow!

I'm with you. I'm slowly but surely packing on some pounds here. Need to get my eating in order, but man I'm hungry with all this running.

Of course I didn't just do a Marathon so Disney would be number 30.

I'm totally jealous! Mine didn't arrive on Monday and today there is no mail so I have to wait till Wednesday to see if it arrives.

Wendy I'm with you on getting wacked up side the head to be kept on the straight and narrow. I find that when I am training on a regular basis I eat better though. Of course there are still those days when I crave nachos, which seemed like at least once a week last Dec while training for the Marathon LOL

Anyways my certificate had better arrive tomorrow or I'm sitting on my porch waiting for the Postman

Well to be honest I'm really shy in person and I'm a hider.
I've only met two Wishers in my 3 Disney races (TOT, Disney World Marathon and Disneyland 1/2) and one was by complete accident and didn't realize it until I saw his picture on the Wishboard after I got home. We had dinner together after the Marathon (Dennyha, Missyha and their son - not sure what his handle is on here.) I also took a big step and introduced myself to Jeff at the Disneyland half, but we were both pretty busy at the time and didn't get to really talk.

But come January I'll be at the Pop meet on my own as my family arrives right after the meet and of course weather permitting I'll be Flying along in Dublin getting that second Penguin Medal.

I had so many people coming up to me all weekend. At the expo, in the parks, in the crosswalk from Harbor Blvd., and at the WISH meets.

I had a fun time meeting everyone, even if it was just a quick hello. Now I know how real celebrities feel like. LOL. My running partner Marcia (Mushu) was laughing at me, saying I almost knew more people than Mickey.

I keep telling other WISHers that you can not be shy around this group. We'll spot you in the Lime Green shirts, hats, or visors. And we'll get you out of your comfort zone, and share some laughs and rides along the way.

See you in January at POP Century.

My certificate arrived on Monday here in Honolulu. Ha Ha, it got here faster than those of you on the WEST Coast who live near Disneyland (Cryssi). :lol:

Now I've never met them, but I still know their face and their name (Mostly faces though from the pictures.) He couldn't believe it. Of course I couldn't get him away from the park to get to the meets at Jamba Juice? but he'd never been to the parks so I gave him a pass on that one.

Got me a WISH hat and Visor so I'm good. Got a couple shirts from Roberts site as well so you should see me coming.

You will look good in no matter what color clothing you where It is important to be seen coming 10 miles away

I would LOVE to, but I just ordered all my stuff and should be getting it just before Christmas. I plan to wear my ORANGE hoody if it's as cold as it was last year.
