I'm turning 21 and for my birthday im going to Disneyland, I'm a Socal Resident, I live in Ventura County. My grandma purchased the Socal 2 day 1 park per day passes for my birthday , for me and my boyfriend who recently moved here from Portland about 2 weeks ago (we have the physical tickets not print outs). I've been going through threads but cant quite find any solid answers. I don't drive (never have) so i just carry my passport around with me when i'm going somewhere where i need an official ID. My bank Statement has my address on it, but i plan on bringing my birth certificate just for good measure since my passport just says california usa on it. My question is, will my boyfriend have any trouble getting into the park? i called disneyland and they said that having the physical tickets sent to my house is proof of residency but im just a little worried for my boyfriend because i have seen them ID people with physical tickets at the turnstile before. Any recent experience and first hand experience would be a great help!

I JUST called DL about this same thing! My mother is a SoCal resident and purchased 3 day tickets as a gift for myself and my husband (who are Texas residents). She is NOT coming to DLR with us. I called to see if I would be able to redeem the tickets at the gate, and the cast member on the phone assured me that since the tickets were purchased by a SoCal resident I would not have a problem redeeming them at the turnstiles.

We do have the e-ticket print-outs, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Here is the number I called: (714) 781-4636

My mother purchased the SoCal tickets for my niece last year (she lives in Portland) and she was able to use them with no problems.

As long as you have the tickets you are good to go. The tickets need to be purchased by SoCal residents. There are many reasons why people could be asked for ID at the turnstiles. Just be sure you go before the tickets expire in May.

I took advantage of a similar offer in 2003. I went with relatives and they asked if there was any discount for me. The CM said that as long as I was a guest of a Southern California resident, I was good to go. My ticket was at a single day single park price, but I had the option to use it as a PH or on separate days. I think it was also less than $70.

What really ticks me off is that this current offer is valid for those in northern Baja Mexico. Seems a bit weird.
