Ok---these words just happened to be spoken by my soon to be sister-in-law. I cannot help the fact that I want EVERYTHING to be planned. I do not fall to pieces if I have to obort my mission (yeah right). But I do NOT like people who try and USE the PLAN against me.

Guess we need to tell you who is gonna go with us.

Me-33: (by the time we get there!!) Wants a GREAT birthday. I believe that if you are turning OLD might as well be at DISNEY WORLD!!!
DH-32: Loves anything that has to do with getting a BEER in GERMANY and pins. Has to ride Pirates and the People Mover.
DS-7: Is on a mission and in one word. . .PINS. He got started on our last trip and has been totally stoked about TRADING them.
DD-3: IS GOING TO DISNEY WORLD FOR MOMMA'S BIRTHDAY!!! That's all she is concerned about at this time.

JD-26: My brother in law who is going because he says that I forced him. I am PRETTY sure that I did not take his money at gun point when making the reservations.
LA-25: Soon to be sister in law. As of Thursday was saying not excited yet. . Can that be? I have been excited since I put my $200 down. . NO since DH said we could go!!
Mr. T-6: My nephew. . Says he is excited but not sure what he wants to do.
KK-19 months: LA's daughter. She's going. Like's Pooh so the Crystal Palace dinner should be a hit.


We have only 4 days. . .4 days I tell you to MILK everything that we can and take as MUCH back home with us. NOT TO MENTION IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!! Birthdays are a thing that my family takes SERIOUS!! You DO NOT share them (or at least you do not WANT to)!!! You live them up!!!! And that is what I had planned after I received my little birthday pin!!!

With all that said. . .we embarked our journey at 3 am Friday Jan 26th. . We have to be BACK Monday night!!! Needless to say. . DH drove that 298 miles while DD 3 and DS 7 and I snoozed BIG TIME!!! Gotta reserve all that walking power!!!

Somehow my children can "feel the force" of Disney. As were are getting off the turnpike. . DS raising his head and says, "Are we here?" DH tells him, "No, we are still in Tifton." (Tifton is a town close to where we live and is ALWAYS where DH tells DS we are when he wakes up at ALMOST this EXACT place everytime!!) DS then says, "I am NOT a baby anymore and I am NOT falling for that this trick anymore. Mom, WHERE ARE WE?" OK--my first dilemma of the day. . .Do I tell him that we are almost there or do I help DH out? I cop out and do the easy thing. . ."I have no clue. I just woke up!" DD hears all the noise and hushed talk about Disney and pipes in "I don't see any bus." I assume that she does not think we are there because a big bus with Pluto on the back has not pulled out in front of us. Then she sees it. No not the sign that I liked

. . She sees MCDONALDS!!!!

We arrive with time to spare (7am) before getting to Epercot. . no typo there. . .we do Epercot. We are staying at All Star Sports. . WHY? See my Signature. . . Ok so we get us some ground floor rooms in BASKETBALL. . .in case you do not know. . .basketball building 3 is VERY VERY VERY far from the bus stop!!! unload the Tahoe QUICK. . checked out our room and found this little cutie. . .

MY FIRST EVER!!! And then we are OFF. . . Alright. . .I say we are off. . .but we had to stop and take a picture here. . .

and then off to eat BREAKFAST. . . DD has this thing with BACON. . .she MUST eat it!!! And always wants a LOT of it!!! After letting her clog her arteries. . .we are then OFF to the bus.

Well. . .when checking in they gave us these little beauties.

So might as well wear them NOW!!!

And then. . . ON TO EPERCOT!!!!

If you shared a bus with US, you would have known it!!! Big Tigger book bag and a little 3 year old girl that talked about "racecar" (Test Track) and that really fast train (and she waves her arm wildly to show that it is fast) which was Big Thunder Railroad. . .

WARNING!!!!! Ignore the mark on my forehead!!! I am JUST learning how to curl my hair and I burned my head!!! (No really DD tripped over the very extremely LONG cord on my curling iron and burnt my head!!!!)


So. . just as fast as we could go we were off to Epercot. You would think that if the 3 year old can work her ticket and the turnstile. . .yes there were MANY MANY MANY adults that found this to be a hard feat to master. . .that she could at least WALK to the stroller!!! But that just was not happening. . .She said that she wanted to ride on DH’s shoulders. . .It was 9 am so he was more than happy to let her at this point. DD keep telling her daddy that his head was not wet this time. . .see there is the difference in going in January and August!!!!

One would think that the child that had talked NON stop on the bus about “flying” (Soarin’) and the “Race Car” (Test Track) MIGHT want to do those things FIRST when we get there!!. . .BUT no. . .somewhere along the way she even convinced DS to go along with her. .they to suck up to DH and beg to ride. . .

Now I like this ride as much as the next person, but I was NOT in the mood to smell ROME BURNING!!! Remember people it is 9AM!!! We should be getting fast passes or in line. . . THIS IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!
DH did tell BIL that he would want to buy this picture when he got home. . .

I am not quite sure why. . .But oh well.

OFF to Test Track. . .

After doing the baby swap. . .the guys say that since it is my birthday I get to ride again with LA. . . As we are strapped in and tugging on our yellow strap. . another CM wishes me a Happy Birthday and calls me by name. . .LA whips her head around and asks HOW DO THEY KNOW YOUR NAME? Not how do they know it is your birthday. . but my name. . . I think that the guys had told her that everyone just knew me.

NEWBIES!!! Gotta love them. I showed her the BUTTON that I was wearing and I thought she was gonna kill me!!! Why me? Guess the guys were not around!!

Now you need to be sure that you understand that a MAIN part of our trip to the World, revolves around FOOD. . .and plenty of it. . .

DH tells me to call and see if we can eat at Germany for lunch. We were suppose to be winging it. I called and got us in at 1pm . . . no problem.

So then we start our trip around the world. . .

And not much later. . . .we are there!!!

Our wonderful server tells us that we picked a GREAT time, that the show will start in about 10 minutes. . . I KNEW about the show. WANTED to see the show. . .so this made an even BETTER birthday!!!

They sang Happy Birthday to me and some other kid!!

LOVED the BELL guy!!!
And I got a Birthday card and a Gingerbread boy from my server. . .

Found us a few friends right around the corner. . .

Stopped by and rode

This was the best. Mr T was SCARED!!! (My family also finds GREAT joy in scared kids. . .Mine or Yours. . .It doesn’t matter. . .

Had to try on a few hats on our way out. . .

Don’t think DS was wearing the correct hat. . .but then again neither did Mr T. . .

Found a few more friends near Mexico. . .

By then KK had about all she could stand

and we remembered that their stuff was still in our room and that we really needed to get it out before my crew split to go to the Pirates and Princess Party that evening. So back to the room for a quick change . . .There goes DH’s plan to ride the monorail. . . I am sure that he will get to ride it sooner or later. . .

OK—just so you remember where we knocked off earlier. . KK was sleeping and everyone else was READY TO GO TO MK!!! Did I mention that ALL day I have been trying to get Guest Services to FIND my Pirate and Princess party tickets that I bought a MONTH ago but they did not MAIL them. They told me it would be easier for me to pick up at my hotel or ANY park. (NEVER AGAIN!!!) I was told that I needed only my picture ID. So I brought ONLY MY PICTURE ID!!! Well, I think that you need to make sure that you use your middle initial and make sure that the addresses MATCH!!! We have a physical address and a mailing address. . .one of those things with owning your own business I guess.
We leave the hotel and JD and LA and the 2 kids, and head off to MK. They said that they were gonna let the kids take a little nap before going back out. Anywho. . we wonder in MK. . little bummed because it looks as though we are not going to be able to go to the party. We wonder all the way back there near Splash Mountain. . .and DD sees it again!! MCDONALD’S!! At least she sees fries. While DH and DS stand in line I decide to try one more time to get our tickets. I call Disney. . .yep the 407 # and get a REAL nice person that tells me that she sees my call # and does not understand WHY we have had problems!!! She tells me to high tail it back to the front at Guest Services and show them my ID. I have to sweet talk DH into walking ALL the way back up there. . .we are by the way. . .close to PIRATES!!!! DD and DS want to take a picture real quick

So we are heading back up to the front. . .I have this HUGE grin on my face and to sound a little like LaLa . . I am telling everyone with my EYES. . “you have to leave I get to stay!!” (My husband says that I cannot talk about people that he does not know when we are on vacation. Sorry LaLa) And we see a few friends. . .actually they are NOT our friends. . We have NEVER seen them outside of Splash Mountain before.

Finally I get up to the front, DH tells me to go in by myself as not to get the kids hopes up again. So I waltz in there like I own the joint and show my ID. . within 4 minutes I am GRINNING even BIGGER (if possible) because I have those little babies in my HAND!!! We go and get our “silver” (bracelet) and get our loot bag. DH makes the observation that they must not be going to give us a great deal of loot. . These things were small.
We were off to ride Haunted Mansion. Why? Because DD KNOWS ALL THE WORDS TO THE BEGINNING!!! From “Welcome Foolish Mortals” to “You can always choose MY way out!” OK—so she listening to it in the van DAILY!! We have to get our fix somehow!!!

Then we are bouncing around like CRAZY!! I mean, Friday was out “wing it” day but this was ridiculous. We were here and there!!! We even went our to ride the Barnstormer. . .

Then it was off to find some loot!!! Those maps were tricky!!!!!

(she also had problems later in our trip with the mapses)
DS kinda beat us all at Buzz Lightyear. . .(I will reign superior again!!!)

Finding new friends and loot. . . .

Saw a little bit of the parade. . .not a lot. . .just a bit. . .BUT it was GREAT!!!! (what we saw anyway!!!)

And then it was back to our room. . .please keep in mind that this was DAY 1 and that DH drove us all the way down here. He and he alone had been up since 2:45 AM!! Now that takes dedication!!!
Tomorrow’s journey. . .Let’s do AK and make sure that we are at Epercot early for DINNER!! Le Cellier. . . .More to come later!!!!

Does any one else out there think that it is funny that at home you have to pry your children from their bed. . . BUT at Disney if you whisper at 6:30 in the MORNING they are UP!!!
Ok. . .so do the morning routine. . get dressed. . .DS tells me “Mom, don’t forget your PIN!!” (I know the pin he speaks so highly of. . The BIRTHDAY PIN) so I quickly put it on and then at about 8 am call JD and LA. . .they say that they will meet us later that they are SLEEPING!!! DS goes on to YELL through the WINDOW that they can sleep at home and that they are wasting their life away. Does it seem as though the entire family has this COMANDO attitude going on here? I thought so. .
So. . off to grab a little breakfast and hit AK. We make our way through the front and have to stop at the tree to see the opening ceremony. . .I did not know that they had one. But then it was a race to get to EE!!! DS LOVES THIS RIDE!! It was VERY crowded so DH tells me to run ahead and get fast passes. No problem. . .Get there the machine is eating fast passes. . . Finally a nice CM helps me out and we are set. Uh-oh. . DD is not tall enough. We asked about doing the baby swap. The CM at the entrance told me that I had to produce a baby. Excuse me but I may be wrong (it has happened before, I think) BUT can’t you use baby swap if the “baby” is just not tall enough? Anyway. . I had to go back and get 2 more fast passes (from the nice CM at the fast pass machine) since the guy felt as though my 40 ½ inch daughter did not qualify us for the baby swap. OFF MY SOAPBOX and own with the show!!! DH and DS ride first. . .DD and I hang out near the “laundry” and wait. Non-eventful. . very low key. . at least for us. I snap a few pictures while I wait for them. . .

Then DS and I take our turn. DH has since criticized my photography. He said that he at least took a picture of me and DS. That’s us up in the FRONT!!! DS has BOTH hands up. I have 1 hand up and 1 on HIS leg. Yes that BIRTHDAY PIN RULES!!!!

BUT what he did not get pictures of is EVEN better. (Remember we find humor in weird things so please do not let me offend anyone) WARNING: (about to make fun of my children. . . after making sure that they are NOT hurt.)
DD has a thing for Doritos. Only at Disney though. 3 trips running she eats Doritos all day everyday. (has not had any since we returned home) Well, while DS and I are off getting our scream on, she is hanging out eating chips. Dh says that he called it to her attention that we would be coming off in just a sec. She somehow stands up in the double AK stroller and it tips over backwards. Everything goes everywhere. . Narrowly missing the mud puddles. A lady runs to help him and then stops and cannot not do anything but laugh. MY child is lying fat of her back. . Doritos all over her face. . AND SHE IS EATING THEM OFF!!! Picks them up off her face and starts sticking them in her mouth. DH is trying to right the stroller and her and she is screaming about her chips. Pulling them out of her hair. . etc!! Needless to say we had to go and by her another bag.
But then she was ready to ride something. And that something was DINOSAUR. DH and I tried to reason with the 3 year old. But every since I had to drag her away from that ride in Sept 06, she has been determined that she was gonna ride it. To make a LONG story short. . We do not have to worry about her wanting to ride it AGAIN!! She freaked out to say the VERY least. She told us that she NEVER ever wants to do that again!!! Dinosaur can stay lost.
Off to a little bit tamer rides. . Well at least for she and I.

DS and DH decide to ride this. . .

Then we swapped and DH rode the Dumbo Dinos while I took a spin with DS.
We realized that it had been awhile since we went and saw the “trail”. We had to wrangle the DORITOS away from DD so we could go in but she was interested so it wasn’t all that hard.

Note the clothes: Do you see WHY I always have to stay at All-Star Sports?

I wanna go . . . . ..HERE!!!

Then it was time for a little grub. . . (It’s 11:30 am and JD and LA have not called YET!!)

So we go get us some sweet Nuggets and then DD says it and it is like MUSIC to our ears. . . “Let’s get outta here and go to Epercot. I wanna fly!” Snatch all of our things off and we are outta there!!!
EPERCOT. . .HERE WE COME!!!!! Dinner at LeCellier coming up NEXT. . .Stay tuned!!! Oh yeah. . .JD and La just called. . .They are at AK. Been here just a bit. We tell them that we will see them at Epercot. .

From a WONDERFUL Disser known as Cruiser1969 over on the Creative DISigns board. (changed soooo many designs for our trip. Almost every shirt that the kids wore were supplied by the Creative DISigns Group!!!

I think that by now everyone can tell that we get PARKHOPPERS and we wear those little babies OUT!!!

So. . .we catch a NOT SO QUICK bus over to Epercot so that DD can get her FLY on!!!

We rush over to the land. . .DS and I scurry in and pick us up a few FASTPASS tickets so that we do not have to wait in the 75 minute wait!!! UGH!!!! And then it is off to the Living Seas because we have yet to experience Nemo.

The wait was like 20 minutes so we filed on in.

ONLY we ended up behind a nice group of people that their caboose was being brought up by a nice lady on a ECV. I wondered to myself did this ride NOT have an entrance for the ECV? Well. . .I laughed and thought about LaLa and the experience that she ever so often mentions about that awful day at Walmart. . .but anyway. . .once again DH tells me that until he has communication with LaLa I cannot talk about her as if she is my cousin or in any fashion that it would seem as though he had ANY clue as to what I was referring to. So. . LaLa if you are out there. . .I need you to communicate with DH!!! Anyway. . if you have EVER stood in line for Nemo, you know that it is forever turns. . .Needless to say that I think she actually made the LAST turn. She got hung up at every turn. Dh would always step up to the plate and pick up the rear of the chair and get her going again. Because all the rocking and giving it more “gas” was not working. Then I see another ECV ride by at the “outside” and he is not hung up on anything. . .Anyway the 20 minutes turned into like 40 but we were being entertained at least until the people behind us started fussing at US because they thought we were with the lady just because DH was helping her!! No one in her group was. . .so I thought he was being NICE!!! Anyway. . .we get to the end and the CM asks the lady if she was testing her driving skills!!! HAHA!!! So then it was on to the ride. . .

We took a little boat ride to check out Living with the Land. DD LOVED the pumpkins. .

Got dropped off RIGHT at Soarin’. The wait time was 30 minutes so we got in line. Well we waited. . .and waited. . . we know that the SEVEN SUMMITS consists of the tallest mountain on each of the seven continents. We know lots about 113 BELOW temperatures in Antarctica. We know that it is cold on mountain tops because they are further away from the earth’s core. All of this while the little girl who wants to “fly” says that she is sleepy and wants momma to HOLD HER!!! Ok!! The sign said 30 minutes so it should not be that long. So I let her get a little catnap. . .I say little because at first I thought that we would be flying REAL SOON!!!! It was almost an hour. My back was killing me. . .Remember she is 3 almost 4 and ENJOYS bacon!!! So I pass her on to DH. . .he takes a turn at what seems to be eternity!! By now the nice man in front of us is about to take a turn. . .he just doesn’t know it yet. . .BUT they stopped letting fastpass through so it was our turn. . .Oh yeah. . those fastpass tickets that I picked up earlier were for 5:30pm. . .forgot to tell you that. Well we are on our way to concourse 2 when DD wakes up and announces that she needs to POTTY!!!! WHAT!!!! Do you see that we are on our way to B1—yes I was STILL wearing the BIRTHDAY pin!!! The nice CM sees that I am STRESSED!!! He comes and tells me that I can take her to potty and he gives me a babyswap and tells me just to walk up the line on the left. . .Not the fast pass line but the OTHER line. . . The Cm’s also tell me that DH and DS can go ahead and ride and that they can ride again with us. .What ? Let them RIDE TWICE? I do not think so. So, they ask what they look like. I tell them father and son in Vick jerseys. Never occurred to me if they would KNOW what a Vick Jersey was. I figured that EVERYONE knew. Especially since this was a week after the so called “water bottle” incident at the airport. So I basically RUN to the bathroom with DD in my arms. . .Yes. .she is HEAVIER when I run!!! Then just TRY and explain WHY you need to go up the line to the left. I finally said FINE. Started up the fastpass line and then went over as soon as we were past the CM. Sure enough when I got up there DS and DH were leaning against the wall waiting on us. They did not look pleased. I could see it in DH’s eyes for me not to EVEN think about making him wait so that we could ride B1. Just luck had it that was the way the cookie would crumble and as they were trying to finish loading the people in “A”, I asked if we could by any chance have B1? Then I rock side to side as I have seen DD do many times to get her way. . .He says. . SURE!! Go on down to B and stand on the gliders. Needless to say. . my family LOVES me!! Great seats!!! No feet in my view. Good times!!!
Then it is off to meet JD, Mr T, La and KK for dinner at LeCellier.

We take pictures and try to look cute.

This is so hard to do this picture when you are ONLY 5’4”!!!!

And then we see them. . .

YEAH!!! Everyone is HERE and I can go ahead and tell them that we are so ready to get our eat on!!!
JD was a wonderful BIL and ordered me a cake for my birthday. . Yes the only thing you have to say is “BIRTHDAY” and I grin like THIS!!!

Here is the cake. . .Does it look like they MISSPELLED “Disney”?

Then everyone wanted pictures with their dessert!! (By the way. . the “moose” is no longer available on the children’s dining plan.) I am not sure as to why I would want it but that is what the waitress suggested we do. I told her that just as DD was there for the “moose” I was there for the crème brulee!!! No way around it!!! She said that she would let it slide this time. I give her the nod that tells her that there is MORE in it for her than just the dining plan tip. And DD gets her “moose”.

And so does DS. . .

JD gets him some cake. . . that KK ate HALF of. . .

DH gets the Crème Brulee and a weird smile. .

Mr T get chocolate face. . .

La gets a smore. .

More in just a sec. . .says I have too many pictures. . .can that be. . is there such an evil monster as TOO many PICTURES???
