First, I Love your family Christmas Picture! Girls are beautiful!
Can you walk me through it how to post a picture to your signature?

Also, can you please post link again for your layouts on 2peas?
They sound interesting and I missed them the first time around!
Thanks so much! Kathy

Kathy:

OK, I tried to type it up myself, but it absolutely made no sense!! So I went to the Tech support board (my DD's suggestion) and here are their instructions:

The picture must be stored on the internet first. You don't have to design a website, just upload your photo to a site. We have a free photo storage site right here on the DIS.

The DIS Photo Gallery I store my photos at imagestation.com

You can use the same name you use on the DIS (assuming it's not already taken) but you do need to register the name there first.

Once you register there, click on the upload photos button and follow the instructions.

After your picture is approved, click on your photo so that it opens in a new window. Right click on the photo, click on properties, then highlight and copy the URL. It should look something like this:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/da...worksCastle.jpg

Go to your user cp > edit profile> scroll down to the signature box, and then paste the URL where you would like it to appear in your signature. Be sure to type &#91img] berofre the URL and &#91/img] after the URL. There can be no spaces, carriage returns or extra characters in there.

Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on submit modifications. If this is your first time to have a signature, you will need to click the Show Signature box and the bottom of the posting window next time you make a post.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!! I need to know how to make the pics smaller!!

I use Microsoft Photo Editor to make my pix smaller. Unfortunately, it's not included with a default install of XP. The good news is that it IS included on the CD so you should be able to go back & add it.

If you already have it loaded, you can just right click on the JPG/GIF/whatever file & choose "Open With" & select Photo Editor from the pop-up window. Make sure your ruler is on (found in the View menu) and you can select either inches or pixels for the measurement units.

Then in the Image menu you can choose either "Crop" or "Resize".
