DisneyDirect orders...hasn't shipped yet?

Usually when I order something from Disney Direct, I get the original "Thanks for your order" email and then receive another stating that it was shipped and the tracking number. I placed an order on 6/28 and received the initial email but not the shipping one. My card has yet to be charged and when I check online it says "At distribution center". When I inquired by phone I used the automated system to check my item number and it keeps saying my item will ship within 2 business days, but it has said that since Saturday.

I called and finally spoke with a CM, she was super-hard to hear (don't know why) and even after I told her several times I could barely hear her, the volume was the same. She initially told me that there was no order number for the one I gave her, then she finally found it and told me it is taking up to 11 days for order to SHIP, ugh!

Anyone else waiting to hear that their order shipped?
 
For my order, I got a shipment confirmation 8 days after I placed my order. Then it about three more days for me to receive my items.
 
I ordered 9 of the Disney logo shirts on the 29th, and just today got my email saying it was shipped yesterday.
 
I placed my order on the 27th and received the same "thank you for your order" email. I check my order online too and it says "at distribution center". :scared1: I called this morning just to see if I could express deliver it to me since I leave in 10 days and can't wait the "extra" 3 days for my stuff. She said that it was being processed and ready to ship and so she couldn't change the shipping status for me. I just hope it arrives in time....I ordered 5 beach towels. I would hate to receive the items once I leave for WDW!!!! :sad:
 

I'm still waiting for stuff I ordered too! It's been since the 27th...I think that they might have gotten backed up with the big sale they have been having. Other than that, I cannot think of what is taking sooooo long!

Remember we had a 3 day holiday weekend ... I am sure they were short staffed. I got my email this morning sayng my stuff has been shipped.

I have had to wait for my order from Disney Direct.

I did get an email that it is in the distribution center.

I just got a shipping notice this morning. Some of the things I ordered were out of stock, but I'm happy with what's left.
 
I've places at least 8 orders over the last couple of weeks and they are averaging 7-10 days for arrivals. The big stuff has been coming separate from my regular orders. The warehouse was probably not open over the holiday and mail was not delivered on Monday. I wish they would get some new merchandise, I'm bored with the old stuff now.
 
I'm not complaining about the holiday issue, it is just worrying me that some/most of the items will be out of stock by the time they go to ship. I assumed that once I placed an order I was getting those items, but the longer this goes on, the more I get anxious about things I got as a set (like the Casa Di Mickey shower curtain, towels & accessories--I wouldn't want the rest if the shower curtain is out of stock for example).

Just was wondering if others are waiting and since others are, I am feeling better about this. I figured I didn't see another post about this so I'd see if others are in the same boat, that's all! :)
 
I placed my order on 6-30 and paid for express shipping since we are leaving on the 9th. They shipped it out on 7-2 and I got it 7-5. I was panicked, I called twice to make sure it would be here this week since we leave Saturday. I ordered the logo shirts and towels.

We are good to go!

I agree, it stinks when something is missing. I recently order the Americana Quilt and sheet set. When the Quilt arrived it had been sliced by a razor and ruined. Unfortunately they were sold out after waiting the week+ for it to arrive. I had to return the sheetset too, because I couldn't keep it without the matching quilt. I called Disneydirect and they are least sent me a consolidation $20 gift card, but really wanted the quilt.
 
I placed an order on 6/28 and it shipped on 7/1 and I just got it today. It was only one item though because I bought the wrong size and reordered instead of exchanging. I also placed another order with a friend on 6/29 and just got an e-mail today that it had shipped so I think they are all backed up at this point. Guess we just have to be patient. :goodvibes
 
Don't worry...I just received an email today that said the order I placed on June 27 was just shipped yesterday. It seems that they must be doing a large volume of business during this clearance sale.

I'd also like to mention that when I placed the original order, I didn't use one of the special codes...I think it was for an extra 10% off, but I had discovered it just after I placed my order. I emailed disneydirect's customer service dept. later that day and asked if I could apply that particular code for the additional discount. The reply was quick and positive. Thanks, Disney, for saving me a little extra money (which I will be spending 1000 times over when my family visits at Christmas!!) :earsgirl:
 
I ordered on 6/27 and just received my e-mail that the order shipped today. I was getting nervous when I read this thread but luckily all my items were still in stock & shipped! Hope everyone's items all ship and arrive soon!
 
My items came on Saturday 7/2 which is within the timeframe they provided but I was a little disappointed as well.

I ordered on 6/22 in the morning EST time. They didn't ship my items out until 6/28. My account status never changed and always said at Distribution Center.

I didn't order anything personalized or that had a wait time.

I am not sure why it takes 5 business days to get something ready to ship.

I was really nervous since it was for a birthday on the 7/3 and I thought I had ordered with plenty of time but with the holiday there was a really good chance I wouldn't get my stuff until 7/5. Fortunately everything worked out.

I have made a mental note that Disneydirect takes a long time to ship!

I placed an order on 6/30 and it still has not shipped.
We are redoing the girls bathroom in the Cinderella bathroom stuff and I really wanted to surprise the girls when they came home from their Grandmothers on Saturday.
I called yesterday when the tracking number did not even register in the system and I got some pre-fab speech "There has been an unexpected overwhelming response to our recent sale". I got so tired of hearing that that I finally said "Glad YOU are in good shape but what about my package?"
I was told it could take 2 more days to go out and then another 8! to be delivered! I said since you have not processed it I want to change the delivery to express. "Sorry, we can't do that while it is in processing". Well I pointed out that that they certainly cannot do it AFTER it has been sent out! That seemed to confuse her.
We are having a big family reunion on the 16th and we re-did the bathroom in colors and accessories specifically for that dang shower curtain. If I don't get it in time I am going to scream.
She did credit me back for the shipping since it was taking so long.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that the delivery does not take the 8 days or I am toast.
 
that they wouldn't ship ASAP... We're leaving on the 13th I NEED that stuff.. this is so bad. I placed my order on the 1st thinking it would have PLENTY of time. I really might cry.
 
it STILL says "At Distribution Center" on the DD website. Glad it got here. Apparently they had a "huge" repsponse to the "summer sale" so orders were having an extra 3 days added onto shipping guess-timates. I ordered mine on 6/26 with standard shipping. Weird thing is, when I use standard shipping, they ship it via DHL, then DHL takes it to my local post office for THEM to deliver it! Ok, I already think the S&H is too much for small orders, so the least they could do is have DHL bring it to me, instead of me having to wait another day or two for the postal mail to bring it. Good luck to all! :wizard:
 
I wish I had read this before I placed a order today. My DD's birthday is next Friday and I ordered a bracelet for her. It better get here by then! I might not have ordered if I'd known there were delays.
