Disneydirect.com question

Does anyone knoy if the cust. serv. employees who take calls for DisneyDirect.com are actual CMs? I thought they weren't but one of the message I keep hearing while I am on hold with them states: "One of our Cast Members will be with you momentarily,"

I know it does matter if they are "really" CMs or not, but I am curious :confused3 :confused3
 
Well, at a minimum, they would not be Disney CM's as Disney sold off that operation a year or so back. They very well could be a phone center, where the telephone staff are answering calls for many companies, simply indicated to them as to how to answer based on a coding system with incoming calls or a screen popping up on their terminals when a call comes in...Disney, General Motors, United Air, what-have-you, outsourced call centers.
 
I believe it's just a phone center. I had the crappiest customer service from them. I was trying place an order online, but the website would not recognize my credit card when I was checking out. I called to place my order, but they told me the item I was trying to order could only be done online. :furious: They didn't even help my try to figure out the CC issue. And I have placed numerous orders online before and this never happened.
