Could someone clear up this question for me? Are you able to book a AP rate with Disney and add the dining package? Are people booking AAA rates and adding the Dining Package? Some threads suggest that discounted rooms aren't eligible.

The Dining PACKAGE can only be added to a MYW PACKAGE, not to a room-only ressie, which an AP room is. (AP holders can get the Disney Dining Experience card)

An AAA MYW package with Dining can be purchased from AAA only, not thru Disney - should get you the room discount.
