Disneyana Convention?

Anyone know where and when this event is going to be held this year? If it's at WDW, do you need to buy a package to attend? We're AP holders, so we'd need room only...we're hoping it's in Florida this year. I think it was in California last year. Is it annual or every other year???? Thanks!!!!!

however, this year, the powers that be determined it should be in CA this year. I was told it was changed to DL to celebrate Walt's 100th birthday.

This year it is in California. JudySue and I am experienced the 1993 disaster at DL. All other years since the first one in 1992 has been at WDW, where we have gone.

They say it is to celebrate Walt's Birthday, but we think the real reason is they want to force DCA on us.

We have good reason not to consider Disney fully honest about reasons. For example, they were going to have a special party in Disneyland Park on Sunday, September 9, from midnight until 6:00 am. They cancelled that (which would have been JudySue's Birthday Party) and said it was "so they could properly get the Park ready to open for the regular guests". How crowded would they expect it to be when the Park opens Sunday morning (the week AFTER labor Day). However, they still have Grad Night, with about ten times as many people as Disneyana.
