Here is the answer I received to my email asking where Oct 10th classes were. I sent the email Friday.

"Hi Lisa,

Thank you for your email! I do see that our programs that were scheduled for October 10, 2011 did not make it onto the registration site. We are working with our partners to get that corrected and hope to have it up and running by the end of this week. Thanks!

Have a Magical Day!

Disney Youth Group Programs"

I sent an email this morning asking when the Oct 10th classes would be available. I'll update if I hear anything.

Lisa
I emailed them a few days ago with the same question and still have NOT gotten a response! :confused3

Few things

1 - the office is only open Monday-Friday 9-5, so if you sent an email Friday you would probably get a response today.

2 - ALL emails are responded to, so be sure to check the address it was sent to.

3 - Correct, there seems to be exceptions for immediate family members (again, I have one child and asked about my wife, she was fine), but it's truly a case-by-case thing.

4 - who else is excited?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Where did you call? No Jerrod on the youth team... the number should be 888-779-1757 option 3. Most common people that answer would be Amanda J, Ashley (not there anymore), Robby, Paul, Ryan, Rolando, Sandy, Darlene, Amanda C, and Heidi. But yes, you should be ok with immediate family only (siblings, parents). Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, ect are a no-go. The "official" word is 1-to-1 student to parent ratio, but as long as it's immediate family, there seems to be an exception...

That's weird and very conflicting to what Jerrod told me when I called last week. We have never done YES before, and so I called when I was having issues when only entering the names of the ppl. attending the class on the first page where you enter kids names/ages and adults. If I only entered the ppl. attending then on the page (to buy tickets) it would only allow me to purchase that many tickets. Jerrod told me to enter everyone's info. (all immediate family) on the first page, and on the next page (where you check who's going to the class) that's where you indicate who's attending the class. I did it that way and was able to check only the 3 ppl. that were attending the class, and also able to purchase all 6 tickets (even though one of the kids is too young and won't be attending any class- along with 2 of the adults.) It seemed to go through, and I've been charged, but now I'm wondering if we're going to have issues once we get there. I tried calling once today, but when I called the Yes office number on the website, she said I had to call the number at the bottom of my confirmation email. I did, but could only leave a message. Hopefully everything will turn out.

I know we can not buy tickets for grandparents but is it ok if a grandparent goes to the class with the child? Or does it have to be a parent?

Someone else earlier in the thread said they were told by someone at YES that grandparents WERE able to get the tickets. They were told parents, siblings and grandparents of the children attending.

Yes I was told by 2 different Yes Program employees that grandparents, parents and sibling were what they considered immediate family.

Well after much confusion I bought our tickets and my boys are signed up for a synergy in Science class on 9/23 at 8:45am...so excited to check it out with them!!!

Not True, the original website is back up, and I purchased 3 tickets with 1 child, and booked our class, so whomever you spoke to, didnt know what they were talking about

FYI when you place your order, your tickets are not automatically approved. You could put in 6 adults and only one child, but that doesn't mean your order is processed as such. Check your CC statement, you'll see that nothing has been charged yet. All of the orders are reviewed by hand, and if there are any issues, they would call you before processing the order.

Just got an email from YES, very quick response, that a grandparent is allowed to attend the class with the child but can not buy a ticket. We were able to purchase tickets for her our younger daughter and both parents while we have 1 child attending the class. That is good news! We still have to purchase 1 ticket for the grandmother but getting our 4 through YES is a huge help.

We will be in the September 9th How things move class.

Does anyone know if you are able to add the Y.E.S. tickets on to your KTTW card if staying onsite?

We'll be staying at a DVC resort on rented points. We will be adding the dining plan as well. It would be nice to have everything on one card but I'll live if we can't.
Just curious if any one has been able to add them to the KTTW card?:)

Im kind of glad they have changed things. From some of the posts people have made the program has been being taken advantage of. Now people who really are interested in this oppurtunity will be able to and those wanting to cheat to get a discount will have a harder time.

Well, I don't know about anyone else's experience, but I registered at 10pm, received 2 emails in a matter of minutes after confirmation and my CC was charged the next day. Pretty quick turnaround. From what I'm reading, it might be because we are two parents and two kids, easy round numbers. Thank goodness because this is really confusing with glitches, missing dates and possible new rules. I hope it gets ironed out soon for the rest.

Thanks. Looks like Dh will need to wear shorts with pockets again:rotfl:
He's the only one of us who is unlikely to lose them.

You could buy one of the lanyards. I got mine from Walmart and keep all our tickets in it. I just take it off and put in in my slingpack pocket when we ride the wild rides.

Ok, I've just gotten off the phone with Amanda. This makes my 3rd call today, and every time I am told the exact same thing, that all 5 of my family can purchase tickets through the YES program. I am not doubting or questioning what other posters are saying, but somehow we are either getting different information or interpreting it differently.

Each time I have called I have said, my familiy is myself, my husband, and my 3 kids. Only 1 child and 1 adult will attend the classes, can I still buy 5 tickets? The answer has been yes all 3 times.

Maybe it has to do with the ratio of kids to adults, or vice versa? You have 3 kids and 2 adults and you can order for all, but I have 3 adults and 2 kids, and she told me I could only buy 4 total (2 kids and 2 adults).

That's exactly the reason. You can buy only as many adult tickets as you have kids. So, 3 kids and 2 adults is just fine, for a total of 5. However, 2 kids and 3 adults, again a total of 5, would not work. With that scenario you could only get 4 tickets and would have to purchase the 5th elsewhere.

We love our lanyards. They're so convenient. I tuck mine under my shirt if I don't want it flapping around on some of the rides. :goodvibes

My card was charged immediately after I placed my order online this morning. I looked online at my Disney Visa account and it was there as a pending transaction for today.

I was not able to get tickets for 3 adults and 2 students today, only 2 students and 2 adults, so I attempted to go back in and put in 2 adults and 1 child like you have just for the heck of it, and the website would not let me even move to the next page. I got a popup instead. How did you get around that? Did it require you to check a box like it did me? I'm not doubting you, just want to wade through all the confusing information. Kudos to you for getting that deal.

This is what was on the first screen that prevented me from doing that:
