Does anyone know if these tickets can be paid for using Disney gift cards?

No, they can't!! I bought the Disney Gift cards thinking I could use the Giant Eagle fuel perks because I wouldn't find the tix cheaper. I called twice to ask if this was possible and both times they said it wasn't.. So, I ended up spending EXTRA cash on tix and am using the gift cards for spending money..

How can the ticket CM tell they are YES tickets? Is that what Youth on the side means? DH is concerned that all the tickets say Youth, but I told him I know from the DIS that they are all like that.

Nope it is perfectly normal. We did the youth program last year and all the tickets had youth on them. We had 2 adults in our group.

All tickets purchased through YES program are stamped Youth for both kids and adults, there will not be anything additional on the tickets noting that a particular one is for an adult's use or for a child's use, they aren't printed with names either and don't require finger scan at turnstiles. When we attended during August we were two families of adults and kids and when entering the parks we were not ever questioned about these tickets, the CMs all seemed to be familiar with them.

Just another one confirming for your DH that all the tickets say Youth because they are purchased through the Youth program. They are good for any age.

Ashley gave me a couple tenative dates for that timeframe but I am so counting down to march 11 when they hope to have the September and October dates posted. I know they said "if all goes according to plans" so I am so hoping things are going well. I promised myself to not check again before that date- lol.

Did she give you any other possible dates? We are looking at Oct. 2-9th. My kiddos would love the program (and I think DH would too) and if we can get cheaper tickets then we may have room in the budget to fly rather than drive. So much is up in the air until we know if there will be YES dates for our trip!

I'm really crossing my fingers that they'll have classes that work with our trip dates for October 21-30.

Does anyone know how the prices of these compare to the rack rates?

Thanks ..... now I feel better for not getting into that group. I hope others are able to still do it that have already purchased though.

Now I'm off to try to convince my dad [retired NAVY] to go so we can get Military discount tix. We went 2 times with them BEFORE we knew about and/ or the military deal came out in 2009....now it's $138 + tax for 4 day PH. We'll still have to buy one at UnderCover Tourist.

I wish I could talk hubby into the 10 day non-expire WP and more....we could do 3 trips for $862 each trip.....of course you have to shelll out ... $2586 now. Ouch. But if we had bought them for our trip in 2009 we'd be going without the expense this time.....

See this whole "crackdown" on the un-official groups is why I decided to take it as a sign to let it go. When the other parent cancelled, I was left with 5 kids, your 3 made 8 but still 2 short. We might could've recruited 2 more but I just don't think it was worth the risk of getting down there and running into a serious problem. I don't want to go in June but that's our only option. I hope things work out for you.

I really hope the classes are offered for when we go in September. My dh is an engineer, and he is all over this lol!! He is REALLY excited about the possibility of taking DD to a class. There is only one class for my dd's age, but we are hoping it may be offered during our week.

Can someone explain a couple of things. I want to go either in Oct. or next April/May. I have a 5 year old and want to get the YES tickets for the family. 1) That would such a amazing experience for him. 2)Wow are the tickets cheaper.

I don't want to run into any problems or anything? Whats the fine print on this? Do I just get tickets for when we are going? Are there any special requirements? Can I also get a ticket for grandmother as well? Thanx for the help?

It seems you cant sign up for individual enrollment for anytime, but only the times that they have. Is that correct?

Also, what happens if I sign up now for a program on on the that late august days and buy the tickets now? Is that class gaurenteed to happen? If in june they say the class has been cancelled would my park tickets become invalid?

Individual enrollment is only during dates they have listed for that program. Once you sign up, you will get a confirmation and then the tickets a week or so later. Once you have them, the tickets are good even if the class gets cancelled.
