Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

I know that Homeschool days are in January and September, but I am not sure that the same programs are offered.

Just got my official confirmation email from Melissa! 7 7-day park hoppers for $1211!!!!!!! SWEET!!

AND we get to do cool stuff at Animal Kingdom?!?!?!

I have a question -

We will be at Disney from Jan 7 - 14. We're staying off property and I've already purchased my tickets for the parks from Undercover Tourist. We will be going on a cruise from Jan 14 - 21. If we come back and participate in one of the homeschooling days (we actually do homeschool our kids!), can I buy a 7 day pass to the parks and use it during our first week there? Also, can I then return the tickets to UT?

If so, it looks like our family could save a few hundred dollars!

folks,this is open to homeschoolers,Disney runs lots of programs for education with reduced ticket pricing,you just have to look. tickets are good for *******14 DAYS********not 21.
I verified this numerous times over the years, you will have 7 days before class date and 7 days after. I have tix from last year that verify this also. They are dated.
a really important note,14 days. if you need admission 8 days after the class date,tickets are expired.
I called,emailed,and used these in the past.

I think somethings must be different this time because we got 10 day hoppers for the homeschool days and our tickets are printed valid 1/12/10- 2/05/10

Sarah at the YES program should get CM of the year. If you have any questions give her a call. She is very helpful.

We got ten day hopper tickets (valid 1/12-2/05) for $179.96. This includes "Engineering The Magic" ($16) I believe additional YES classes are $25.

They are not listing the ten day hoppers on the website. If you want a ten day you just pick a different number day ticket for ever how many people you need. In the box where you put the children's ages, you state that you want the ten day hopper for $179.96.

But if you have questions call Sarah, she is great!

I am so sorry. I did not realize the OP did not link to the Homeschool tickets and that Y.E.S. was offering a different open program for January. My information is related to clicking on the links to purchase tickets for the Homeschool Event. (You also do not need to be a group for these tickets) Sorry for any confusion. Both programs sound a lot alike and seem to overlap.

When did you order? I have been charged, but have not received anything via email unless I deleted it by mistake.

I never received an email but got my tickets FedEx Express.

I received the confirmation of registration within about 10 minutes of the order. Then I received a separate email confirming the actual tickets and prices the following day. The second email listed the full 7 days and the correct billing price that I listed in the "options" section of the registration. The first email just listed the 5 day pass, as that was the longest option.

My card was charged last night, so this has all been completed within the last 48 hrs? I am not having my tix shipped, I am picking up at Group Tickets on our arrival.

I followed Sarah's direction, while I had her on the phone. She was fantastic!! I would love to get her work mailing address and send her a Starbucks card or something!

Thanks! I opted for shipping so maybe I'll get them today or tomorrow. I should have NOT told the kids and put the tickets in their stockings. Oh well!!

It would still be a fun package to open on Christmas Eve!!!

You probably would not want to put them in their stockings anyway because the are paper (cardstock) type tickets.

As someone said above they do this type of thing during homeschool days twice a year, but this is the first time I have seen it open enrollment. It's an amazing deal!

you faxed the request form in and then received confirmation before you purchased tickets, is this correct?

Everything I did was online. There is a separate site for the YES Program and I was confused at first. That's why I called Sarah and she gave me the proper location for the site and walked me through it.

ok, well I could only find the form that you had to print, fill out and fax. That's what I have done, and I emailed Sarah yesterday, still have not gottena response, I guess I may call soon. I would like to go ahead and purchase tickets but don't want to do so if the class is already filled up and we can't attend. This is an awesome deal.

Thank you so much to the original poster for this, this saved me $400 on 5 day park hopper tickets!!!! I wasn't even going to do park hoppers but now I am able to. I also won't feel as guilty for taking my kids out of school for 3 days!

We are going to do the Properties of Motion class on Jan 25th, anyone else?

I emailed them a few days ago and finally heard back. They said my tickets won't ship until January 4th. No confirmation that I requested 6 day hoppers instead of 5 days hoppers. I was charged more than what my confirmation says, so I hope they show up right.

I have a question that I can't seem to figure out. My friends are going in January and this will be a great way to save money and do something different. They have more adults than children. They have 5 adults and 3 children. Can they purchase tickets for everyone? If not how many can they purchase?
