My daughter is taking that class, we signed for it. I am going with her to the class. We got our tickets in the mail about 3 weeks ago. See you there. We are staying at the Polynesian. She is going to 3 of the classes.
Is anyone taking the La Nouba class on June 16th?
Pam and Kim

Cool! I'll have a lime green Mickey on my backpack so be sure to say Hi! If you can't spot the Mickey just look for the blondest hair you've ever seen and that will be my youngest DD. :goodvibes
We got our tickets pretty quick but I've still not heard if we got the class or not :confused3

If the classes get cancelled you still get to keep your discounted tickets.

How long does it take for the tickets to arrive?? We leave in 18 days and ordered tickets at the beginning of May 2010. Once we have them in hand, I may be able to breath a little better. ;)

I ordered mine on April 22 and it was processed on the 26th got them a couple days after that. Maybe you need to call just to make sure they didn't get lost ?:confused3

I signed my kids up for the Wild by Nature class in AK for the 15th of June. Now they've changed the park hours for that day so instead of getting in early we'll be late:confused3 Also they have not notified us if we've gotten the class or not, how long before do they do that? I haven't told my girls yet about the class 'cause I'm afraid they won't have enough people to do it.

I've looked at the park hours again and I'm not seeing where it changed...so either it was a typeo and they got it fixed or I need new glasses :rotfl2: Sorry!

We ordered our YES tix on May 11, the payment processed on May 19, and we got our tix today (May 25). Maybe you should give them a call?

we registered on 5/14, transaction "hit" on 5/18..we have 6/30 Energy in Physics class @MK, and I asked for tix to be shipped....I hope they come Sooner rather than later....just want them in hand :lmao:

UPDATED:
Got our FedEx pkg today 5/25, signed and got out Tix :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
What a great savings and the ds is looking forward to the class too, a Win/Win for sure!

Great program I guess but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They NEVER respond to e-mails, ever. I placed an order on Friday which still has not hit, emailed about possibly making changes, no response whatsoever.

3 business days hardly qualifies as 'never ever.' Others have gotten great service from the ONE girl who runs the program. Maybe she's on vacation.

That's what I was thinking, mrsklamc, especially in light of all the glowing reports I've heard about the customer service everyone's received from the Y.E.S. office.

Also, if memory serves, the Y.E.S. office keeps standard 9-5 office hours, unlike the DRC and other Disney customer service folks, who are generally available until 10pm. That rather limits the opportunity for follow-up if there are lots of inquiries.

Thanks to all those who encouraged me to call Disney about our tickets...they had been delivered to the school and had fallen behind a cabinet!!! We finally have them in hand...actually, I'm copying them right now!...can't believe that we are this close to the trip!!!

We are doing the Keepers of the Kingdom on 6/17 at 8:30am...I will make sure to keep notes to let you all know how things went. :)

Maybe a multi billion dollar corporation ought to hire more than one person to run the program.

Doesn't seem to be any reason for them to do that, as the vast majority of folks who have used the program are quite satisfied with the customer service they have received. I haven't gone searching but I didn't see anything on their website that promised they would get back to you within a certain amount of time.

If Disney continues with Open Enrollment, maybe they will expand the staff of the Y.E.S. office. But since this is the first calendar year they've offered it up for open enrollment (as I understand it), I'm sure they're getting lots more registrations and inquiries than they might otherwise.

If expanding the staff would mean higher Y.E.S. ticket prices, I'd rather be patient and wait for them to reply to my messages. :confused3

I agree. A lot of us couldn't go without this program.

BTW, my processing time was as follows:

Ordered 5/17
Processed 5/21
Received 5/26

I hope so, they said even if class cancels tix are good. I really hope our class is on as we'd be very disappointed

I have had a class canceled and my kids got to pick another class that was still running.

Y.E.S. staff is AWESOME!!! :cool1:

This is the first year (Jan., June, July) have offered open enrollment. So I am sure that it is extra work. :scared1:Like others have said if keeping the staff ratio down keeps Y.E.S. ticket prices down, I will wait a few days.

Have you tried calling to ask questions? They are wonderful. So often now there is not a number to call for customer service, only email. But you can actually talk to a real, live person that is right there at Disney (not thousands of miles away).:thumbsup2

Of course if they get to many complaints maybe they will just not offer open enrollment again.

I did try to read through some of the posts, but 37 pages...burnout:surfweb:

I guess my questions are:

1. Is it still a rule that there must be one adult per one child? What did you do if you had more than one child.

2. I understand there are discounts on tickets. So, if I understand if my child takes just one class that I can buy whatever length/types of ticket I need at the discounted price? Is this right?

3. Obviously there is the cost of the tickets, but how much are the classes?

Thanks for much for alleviating the pain of reading through all 37 pages ...

Okay I have a dumb question (I'm sure) but when I go to the YES website and look at the calander it is blank-are the classes filled already? None open or am I just looking in the wrong place. Everyone keeps posting the days that they are getting, but I see nothing.

7 Day Park Hopper YES Open Enrollment Ticket = $173.12
7 Day Premium YES Open Enrollment Ticket = $189.11

= = =
Premium = park hopping + water park admission for the number of days indicated

Prices include tax

Add a $4.50 processing fee for the entire order (not per ticket)

If you want the tickets shipped to you, add $10 for the entire order.
Otherwise they can be picked up at a ticket window for no fee.

The prices include one class per school aged child. Each additional program is $26

8, 9 and 10 day tickets are available, but I think you have to ask for them

The greatest number of days I found on the website is 5 days. Does anyone see the 7 days?

I understand you can get up to 10 day tix, but must just add a comment in the note section at bottom. Not sure on price, but someone else along this thread has bought these in past.

Someone else asked: momoftwins?
1)since I think you are asking about your twins, I am sure that if they are in same class, you going to cover both of them is okay, but I guess you can call and ask:confused3
2) yes, you can get tix for all the people in your party during open enrollment regardless if they take just one class.
3) I think cost is 26 or 27 which is INcluded in your tix price, so you get that first class and pay that Extra for additional classes.
There are no refunds/exchanges or changes and tix are good before and after your dates of arrival, so be sure you know when you need them and your dates overlap.
We are so excited!!!
