Disney Y.E.S. Program

I can't answer your question about the 3rd week in July, but you can look up years past and get an idea.
How did you purchase the YES tix without a specified class?
Your 14 yr old will be able to attend the class by himself, but you must sign him in and remain in the park where the class is being held, until he finishes.
You will have to remain with the younger two during their classes.
Once you have purchased the childrens' YES tix, you will then be able to proceed to a page where you may purchase discounted tix for you & your husband.
If you go to the YES site you can do a practice run & see what I mean.
Good luck!

I should have looked on the YES page a few weeks ago but I am considering the Wine and Dine 12 marathon next year. Can anyone tell me if they recall or participated in a class during the first week in November? The marathon is likely 11/8 and we will be there from 11/2 or so on. Thanks!!

Question: Does anyone know what the date for this first class in JUNE was this year??? And what about the Last Fall class?? I was going to write all of that down, but totally forgot.

Our first experience with the Y.E.S. program will be next fall so I have a few questions for those with previous experience. I understand that things can certainly change, but I would still appreciate some insight on past experiences.

We are travelling with my sister and her family. We have 4 girls (one won't be old enough to participate) and they will be 6, 9 and 11 at time of travel.

Our stay will be Sunday-Friday and I am concerned about the class scheduling. When I look at the current options for Jan/Feb, it looks like classes are only scheduled on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Is this typical for the entire year, or is it just specific to the season? I also noticed that there is only one class offered for ages 5-8. Obviously, if that is the only option, we will have no choice, but I'm wondering if that is normal also...only one choice per week for that age group??:confused3

The trip will be a surprise for my nieces (one is the 6-year-old) so she won't even know that there may be an option. She will just see it as her "adventure" (that's what she calls her school field trips;))

Last question...when should we start looking for the schedules to be released for October 2014? My sister is planning on doing the Deluxe Dining Plan and wants to do the breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. She will need to know when her class will be so she can book the breakfast accordingly. I told her that I would bet the 180-day ADR window will open up before the class schedule so she may be out of luck:guilty:.

I don't know about the typical days of the week scheduling, so I'll let someone else answer that.
The schedules are usually released shortly after the current round of classes.
As I understand it, you can't get the dining plan in conjunction with YES tickets. The only work-around for that is to buy a package that includes resort, tickets, and dining AND buy YES tickets. The tickets you buy with the package would be the minimum required tickets for the package, and ask to have them separated and saved for a future trip and just use the YES tickets for the currently scheduled trip. It's an added up-front cost that would not be worth it to me, but might be to you.

Oh, sorry, I should have clarified...we are DVC Members staying on points so we are eligible to buy the dining plans independent of tickets.

We purchased tickets through the YES program for our Jan 20th trip, when should we expect an email with the ticket info for FP+ linking?

Do you already have dates set for your trip?

Just so you are prepared, there may be no options the week you want to go. We did the YES program last year and there was only one class for the entire month of August offered for that age group (5-8). The 9 and 11 year old children should have more options.

If you are flexible, you can register and purchase tickets as soon as the dates come out and plan your trip around the class. If your dates are firm, you may not be able to participate.

I am not trying to be a downer and I truly hope the schedule works for you, but I just think it's fair to make sure you won't be disappointed if you find there are no classes. :flower3:

We just booked a last minute trip for Jan and see that there are a couple of classes available for my kids.

If I link the YES tickets on MDE for the bands before arriving, do I still need to go to guest services with the voucher?

Ok, here is a new questions I've never seen discussed or can find an answer for :

When you get to the payment screen, can you do split payments ?

Specifically, how many ways can it be split ? Can they be different credit cards by different account holders ?

I am wondering the same thing, since I am looking into purchasing YES tickets for early Feb.

Also, were do you pick up the tickets? Do you have to go to a certain guest service window or can you go to any resort or guest service window to get them.

Has anyone bought the premium ticket? It says it includes waterpark but does not say if it is only one waterpark admission for the full length of the ticket or more than one.

My DD really wants to go to a waterpark but I have a feeling it will not be warm enough in Feb. So, I was not going to get it but wait until we are there.
