Disney Y.E.S. Program

Yes, it's the Homeschool one for this coming up January 25th, Home School Days Event: Engineering the Magic. We paid $235 for two adults and two kiddos. I was wrong on dates though, I looked back and we purchased it on October 18th.

ok that explains a lot now.

BTW, anyone know the fall Homeschool Days date?

Thanks for the tips for my 3 year old. Do you know if im required to stay there with my little one or can my husband stay with my 6 year old and let us go hang out at the park?

Unless they've changed the rules since last year you aren't required to stay.

We did the Jan '12 program and I attended the seminar with my school aged kids while DH took our then-3yo to meet some characters. We all knew she wouldn't sit through the presentation and because it was a lecture in the theatre at Studios our options for amusing her were limited - the iPod or DS would have been disruptive because of the light, and it was too dark for other toys/coloring. But the YES rep I spoke with over the phone before I booked and the woman at the check-in for the program were both clear that we didn't all have to attend that part of the event.

I'd call and double check since they have changed some things over the past year but I would be very surprised if they required whole families to attend; I'm sure they don't want disruptive babies/toddlers interfering with the presentation.

I think I asked this before but....you don't have to homeschool to get the homeschool days tickets and do a homeschools day presentation?

How many different days/presentations were there to choose from for young kids like 9 and under? Thanks!

You don't have to homeschool. And there is one main homeschool presentation. Additional yes classes may be added and paid for.

Why does it look like the max amount of days tickets is 5? I thought it used to be 8.

Last time I checked (last week) to price our tickets.. you could still do 8 tickets, but I don't think you see that option until you go most of the way through the sign up process. you can always exit out at that point... just try and see what comes up for you.

I was on the YES website but can't seem to find the calendar of classes offered on each day. They used to have it on the old website. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

We picked up our tickets in DTD at the guest relations in Marketplace. I think it's by the Team Mickey store. There was a short line and everything moved very fast. My family went to get sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich and I went to get tickets, and I was back to the restaurant before they had ordered.

Thanks!

I was hoping GR in Marketplace was an option, as we want to eat at WPE our first night in and then pick up the tickets.

Two more days!!! :cool1:

My daughter has shown interest to take the Marine Career/Science class during our trip. We are staying at the Boardwalk and class begins at 8:30. Will they allow us to enter via the International Gateway entrance? We will not have a car and not sure how to get to the front of the park... Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance!

We picked ours up here also. No line and process was very quick. My dh, who was so worried this was going to be some major inconvenience getting our tickets this way, was very happy ;)
