My husband, sister, and I will be taking my 4 kids and 1 nephew to dw for spring break this year 5n 6d. They are 1,3,4,5, and 9... I'm starting to doubt my strenghth. Should I make arrangements for my 1yr old to stay home? My husband will be leaving 2 days early also. I want to take my baby... But I know he won't really remember... Is it too much for baby and me? Or would we be okay??

Would not even cross our mind; we would bring the baby. We just got back from Orlando/Daytona Beach w/ 2mo old. Our Disneyland Trips, one of the WDW trips, and many other family trips, we always had one under 2. This is something you are just going to have to figure out on your own. :)

You will just need to alternate who is staying back to watch some of the kids for some of the rides. I would bring 2-3 strollers. One for the 1yr, one for the 3yo, and then one for the 4 and 5 to alternate if they get tired. You will be supprised how kids can go and go and go at this place, then get up and do it again the next day and next day. Something about the Happy Vibe and Energy this place gives you....

I would just plan your last two days as "easy days" so no big park commando days. Maybe plan some easy park touring followed by some time at the pool or a dinner meal where the food is served family style such as HDDR, Luau, Ohana. You will only have two adults so being served can be a lifesaver verses trying to feed everyone from the buffet. Since on your last two days you will only have two adults then plan on two double strollers.

Bring the baby! It will be fun for the older kids too to show the baby what they love about Disney, and I bet the family would miss the baby if you left him/her at home.

Dh and I are planning a Sept trip and our twins will be 17 months old then. Our other kids are coming too--they will be 19, 17, 8 and 6 at the time of the trip.

They would be mad at us if we left the babies behind :)
