two words....stay home! if your business is in that dire need of your assistance you should be at work, not the parks!:)

And I have 3 words for you little miss.

And since my work is 900 miles away, I am given the luxury of not having to be there at work 7 days a week. I can pick up the phone and give instructions from wherever I am. Perk of the job.

My husband is on call 24/7, I guess he shouldn't leave the house, ever according to you right?

Well I guess you don't own a cell phone and others opinion don't bother me the least or will make me change my mind. A cell phone is a normal accepted device and if some one doesn't like to be confronted with modern technology maybe it is a wonderful idea to go and live with the Amish people.
Lovely people but stuck in the past.
Really? Stuck in the past? Let's see... I have one of those, what do you call it? It's got four wheels and an engine that runs on gasoline (vs. literal horse power) and it gets me places - right, an automobile! I've got a home phone, a computer, a netbook, a - yes, shocking - cell phone, an iPod... I've got electricity, and light bulbs, and television... so, yeah, I embrace modern technology. I'm just not addicted to it.

The people I know who enjoy Walt Disney World can go themselves; they don't need my minute by minute update. The people who don't go also don't need to be on-the-spot with technology.

No actual these people were watching the news ,seeing the terrible pictures and were talking to their at that moment still living beloved ones.
Right, that's the show YOU were watching. The show Carly_Roach was watching aired indicated
It's funny you should mention that. I was also watching a documentary about 9/11 regarding the hours after 9/11. Apparently so many people had called and left voice mails before the towers fell that the either the satellite or something else became saturated with the amount of data. Those voice mails weren't delivered until 24-48 hours AFTER the towers fell, leading the families to believe that their beloved ones were still alive in the rubble somewhere and had just left a voice mail instead of having left that voice mail right before they died.

Different show, different aspect.

such suckers!!! love it! thanks...the soaps were not on today and I was bored!!
That'd be much more credible if this thread has been started today.

Totally. Can't understand why both sides are so heated. :headache:

very simple, I made a statement that was sensitive to people who do it, and or are in denial about it. That is what happens with denial, they get heated. and things turn ugly. you cannot say anything or vent on here about anything without people going off on you!! It was good for a laugh to see how off the wall people on here really get.

oh and these are the same people that will text and drive or cell phone use and drive because they "have the right to" for now that is...
the people who do not care who they might kill in a car...all in the name of business, but who am I? just a victim that is all..

Silly me. I thought it sounded like someone who's been in two car accidents caused by drivers on cell phones. What do I know? :teeth:

But this isn't about cell phone use and driving. If it was, I wager that those of us on the opposite side of the OP (although, I'm sure by now EVERYONE is on the opposite side of the OP) would be agreeing with her. There is a huge, huge difference from doing something dangerous while driving a car and using her cell phone at an amusement park.

It's like saying that the people sitting in Le Cellier having a beer are too consumed with their alcohol to enjoy time with their families and that they are so self-absorbed that they see nothing wrong with drinking and driving.

I'm talking about more my confusion WITH you.

You're so angry at people who use the cell phone outside their home.
You're preoccupied with other people's vacations to the point of anger about what they're doing on it.
You've been offering up information about things no one asked about.
You are seemingly bragging about your possessions and vacations.
None of it is adding up to me.

I'm pretty sure that's a major point of the whole thread... look at me and see how wonderful I am.
