We just returned from a two week trip in Orlando. We have been home for about a week and I am still sad the trip is over :( All I can do is think about my next trip and hope it is sooner than later.

But my question is about the tickets. I know they go up a little every year, does anyone have any information about how much they go up a year? I didn't know if it was like a dollar, .50 cents, or three dollars?

Also does it FOR SURE go up every year or might it stay the same for a year or two?

every year for the past few years. With the economy the way that it is today, they may opt not to.

Disney has been messing with structure of the tickets rcently and the rate increase has varied according to what you buy. For example, I bought tickets just prior to the rate increase in August of last year for our upcoming trip. We buy ten day non-expiring tickets and use them over a couple of trips. The non-expiring option went up quite a bit so I ended up saving almost 10% by buying them early. The other options went up but not nearly as much.

One suggestion on tickets, and you may already know this, is to subscribe to the Mousesavers.com newsletter. They have a deal with Undercover Tourist that is linked in the newsletter. It's not going to give you a big discount but it will possibly pay for a meal on your trip.

Wonderful, I love the idea of the 10 day ticket, that would cover about 2 trips since we do all the parks everytime.

One more question, if I bought the 10 day non expiring ticket, it will be good until the 10th day is used correct? No matter how long apart the trips maybe from when they are bought to when the last day is used?

Correct, they expire upon the use of the tenth entrance. But remember--you also get 10 entries to the water parks, etc. So it expires when ALL the entries are used.

option is an add on as is the park hopper option. We don't have that option yet, but I'm convinced it's a good deal. Even after the park admissions are used you can still use the water park entries until, in this case, all them are gone. I think under the current pricing that gives all four of us ten entries, since the tickets are for ten days, for only $200 total. We just have to add that within fourteen days of the first use. I haven't yet gotten my wife to totally buy in on this, but on future trips our kids are going to be getting to the age where water parks is a necessary diversion.

Here is a link to the best source for ticket information I have found. A couple of the comments indicate that the author works with tickets at Disney. It's laid out so you can find specific topics pretty quickly.
