This park reservation thing is reminding me of the Charlie Brown Halloween special. "I got all 8 days", "I got 4 days", "I got all parks for 2 trips", "I got a rock".
You were honestly just lucky. I have been on since before 7 and could only book 8 days out of two trips of 8 days. The bug just hits randomly. So who knows? I wish they could manually do it over the phone, but it appears no dice you need to do it on MDE.They should be able to fix this problem because it was working correctly earlier this morning. I was able to book 10 days across 2 reservations - one in Dec and one in Oct, and I am an AP holder. I am so sorry for what all of you are dealing with. Hang in there!!
yes,but you have to cancel first. I did, you have to be logged in, get it ready so you just have to confirm, cancel on the app and redo on the website. Can you change or delete a park pass reservation once you have made it? I made a mistake and can't figure out how to go back and change it.
I don’t remember reading this on the website - do you happen to have a link? I’m in the same situation, with a November AP expiration and an on-site December trip that I can’t reserve parks for. Very frustrating! In same situation. Website specifically stated that AP holders would be allowed to book passes after expiration date since unable to renew currently. Would be terrible if we had to wait several months to renew before we could get our park passes.
That's only part of our problem. There are 4 of us with APs. Our first stay is 9 days. All 4 of us can make 7 reservations, but after that my husbands profile can make the other 2 days while the rest of us can't. He isn't on our December reservation so can't book and the 3 of us can't book that either because "we've reached our tcket limit". We all have the SAME gold aps! This!!!! I am a developer too, and I can't believe they didn't unit test someone having multiple reservations! And the site crashing like this? I get there are a lot of people going on at once, but TicketMaster also has a lot of people flooding it when there is a big concert that just released tickets, and they don't have these kind of issues. It's just inexcusable.
If the trip is in 2020, they just stated they would start selling tickets again later in the summer based on remaining availability. If it’s in 2021, you can call in on 6/24 and add tickets to your room-only ressie and make it a package. Then presumably you could reserve park passes, if available. What's the consensus on resort reservation holders who don't have tickets? Do we have to wait until June 28 to buy tickets to make reservations? What if our days are all books during our reserved stay? That'd be messed up.
I agree - it seems the complete luck of the draw for this. I was on before 7, and was have a terribly hard time even getting in. Then once I get in, making my first resort stay park passes was very easy - and then I hit the dreaded limit error. The CM I was on the phone with had an IT guy that was doing stuff while talking to her, and it still didn't fix any of my issues yet. I did get 3 emails from Disney saying my account had been changed, so I'm assuming that was due to something the IT guy was doing, but now I can't even get into the reservation system to see if I'm able to add more. You were honestly just lucky. I have been on since before 7 and could only book 8 days out of two trips of 8 days. The bug just hits randomly. So who knows? I wish they could manually do it over the phone, but it appears no dice you need to do it on MDE.
How long did you wait on a castle or space mountain screen? I tried getting on early this am, did some of my real work, and now I'm checking again. Seems like some people have been successful and others not so much.
i guess some people aren't as smart as they think they are. i don't even know who Regan117 is. only recently rejoined the forums after being here in 2001/2002 and moving. And yes, i have 58 park reservations.Don't believe it.
This poster is almost certainly a former poster by the name of Regan117.
Not hard to figure out....same constant boastful posting style, and joined very, very soon after Regan117 made her last post here.
Some aren't nearly as smart as they think they are.
Where did you find this? How accurate is it?Everything online seems to be locked up but you can still check your plans on the phone app.
also the chart thread I started with the days available is working for those worrying about available days..all are still available..
