Disney World Magical Vacation

Big family Vacation plans!
The plan was that my mom, my daughter Aurora 2 and my Aunt and her daughter Belle 5 and I would do the single mom Disney trip together from the 27 to the 1st at BVP and I had mapped out our whole route and events based on the Unofficial Guide.... but here's what happened!
Also mom and I had planed to do a quick hello on the Friday before to see the Santa's in Epcot but I got food poisoning and could not get out of the house. I was sad but wanted to feel better before I could think of fun.
So the 27th had arrived and I was so very excited! My DD2.9 was not however, she did not want to get up at 6:30 am she was still mostly on CA time and FL time was way too early for her. So she fussed a bit then went to sleep again on the ride to Disney.

We got to Disney quite fast and I wanted to do Magic Kingdom first thing. Our check in at BVP was not until three and we had to pick up my Aunt and cousin at 4:12 pm at Orlando international, so we had plenty of time. We got on a tram after a bit of finageling with our bags and stroller and set of for the park. Which isn't actually right there you have to take a monorail to get to the entrance. I love monorails they are always fun and I remember as a kid that being on the monorail meant fun was about to begin!

I love it! Disney is the best but no time to day dream, I have to see if my plan is shot... the park has been open 45 mins. We rush to Fantasy land and it is. Dumbo is 60 mins and I realized I would need a different plan, so here is plan B, the one where you just try any ride with a short wait, So we went off to find our first ride and there it was... “Its a Small World” the wait was 10 mins, great! Aurora Loved it! I loved it, just as I remember it being. My brother and I rode it over and over and over with no one in line once when we where little. My family lives just two hours away from Disney so we went almost every year as children but for what ever reason I haven’t been in ten years, what was I thinking? We have a lot of good memories in MK. After SW we got Mickey’s PhillharMagic fast passes then waited in the Peter Pan Line which I think was 20 mins but seamed longer with a two year old who really was sleepy and didn’t get that the wait was for an awesome ride. When it was our turn they assigned us a row then cut off the standby line right after us to make way for the fast pass line which had grown very long, I was so happy to have made the ride with out the wait! I thought that was something special! My daughter loves Peter an so she really liked this one. When she is scarred or nervous she will put her hands over her ears to keep the sound out she did this through out the ride but never complained and said she really liked it. She is my brave little bug! Then we went to the PhillharMagic and the same line luck happened to us only this time the let in standby right after us. We happened to be fast pass cut off! Magic I say! The show was awesome! the three of us loved it a lot! That was a fabulous show and Aurora really got in to it! Then we had potty break and Lunch at Ariel's Grotto. I thought about seeing Ariel but the line was 60 mins. We’ll do it again another day I said. Then I went on the hunt for a my Pal Mickey. I found one and bought him! He's soo cute! My mom, Grammy thought I was nuts! I am some times but I had hoped he would make standing in lines go faster. Grammy and Aurora ran around Pooh's Play land for a good bit then we finished up and walked around Tomorrow land checked out some shops and made our way to the castle. When we arrived the Dreams show had just started and so we watched from a nice place on the left! Another hit for our family and a good spot on short notice, yep this place is magic!

We checked out more shops and then headed for the monorail. We had run over our time line a little and still needed to drop off our luggage at the hotel. We got threw the cut off of the monorail line but could not fit a stroller on any cars. I suggested we sit in the front car so we waited at the guard rail. Then the other family that didn't make it on walked up to the CM next to us and asked if they could ride up front with the conductor, the CM said it would only fit four people and they could ride if they split up. They declined not wanting to be split. I didn’t miss a beat! “We only have three!” I chimed in. He asked us to fold up our stroller so we could ride! My mom was so thrilled she was the happiest person around after that, she didn’t know that was even possible. I thought we must be the luckiest people around!

We got off, got to our car and drove to find our hotel, but being directionally inept we could not find it! We realized we went the wrong way at the end of Buena Vista Dr. and where told to turn around and go 20 lights down with time ticking and luggage to drop off we started to worry we would miss my Aunt. We found where BVP should be but had to stop and ask how to get there one last time. We dropped off the luggage and booked it to the airport with great directions from the hotel. We got there with time to spare but didn't see the family, I jumped out really quick to see if the plane had arrived and mom was shooed off by the guards. The flight info for there flight was not any place to be found so I was a little worried but then they walked out. I ran up and picked my cousin up and swung her around then my Aunt says well I wouldn't do that she has been puking the whole flight! Yikes! So we plan to eat then go to the store for supplies. Aurora is so thrilled to se Belle she cant stand it. We live on opposite sides of the country and only see each other once or twice a year the girls love each other a lot and get a long swimmingly! I hoped Belle was just air sick but she got a fever by the time we arrived a the hotel. They checked in and so did we. We requested adjoining nonsmoking double Queen rooms when we reserved these months ago and that's what They got, we however had a smoking room! YUCK! Mom called and asked for a change but they only had a king room available. they could bring up a roll-a-way bed for us, we took it we where sleepy. Mom went to talk to them and they said that the smoking room was one we had requested.... no way! They switched our room and I came back down with my confirmation of the rooms we requested and the guy I talked to tried to tell me the room we originally had was non smoking and that some one must have brought their own ash tray and left it there... um hello? No! The lady that talked to my mom told her it was smoking but that's what we requested! why would they tell tails like that! I brought proof and he lied to me a bout the smoking room not being a smoking room and they told my mom that's what I requested that made me up set that they lied. Then he basically told me that its not set in stone. As I walked a way a woman was complaining about the same thing. They over booked so we got the slack. Nice but not what they told us. The room was clean and nice, we passed out! Slept good! The day was a good day even with the sick Belle and the rollaway bed Aurora slept on. We arrived and you don’t go to Disney to stay in your room any way. I could not wait for our next day at the Magic Kingdom!
