Disney World Discounts

Just wondering (long shot I know) if anyone knows where I may find at some point discounts for disney world packages? And how far out from a stay date that they usually become available. I have read on here a few instances of people getting discounts applied to their packages and am wondering if I really should be paying full rate for a ten night stay package?

The Mousesavers website has a record of when discounts were offered over the last few years by Disney. It shows when discounts were released for Room Only as well as specials like the Free Dining offers for different types of people ( like Disney Visa card holders, AP holders, the general public etc)

You can definitely see a pattern from year to year ( with a few variations). It should give you a good idea of when a discount may be released for your dates.

If you book your WDW package through a reputable Disney Travel Agent they will keep their eye out for any discounts being offered and will apply it to your booking.

We've used www.mousetalestravel.com the last few times and they have contacted us when free dining was offered and applied it to our booking. I can highly recommend then and I know many others on the Dis have good TA's they have used also.

That would have been perfect but we have already booked direct with Disney. I will have to do the leg work myself and keep an eye out for the discounts!

Keep checking the Disney website and also the Discount Codes board here on the Dis - http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=93 if a discount is released you'll hear about it on that board almost as soon as it happens

Thanks again! Fingers crossed we should see a hotel 5-30% discount in November....not banking on it though as we are staying in AOA LM rooms!
