In December 2011 I went to Disney World and upgraded our free dining to the Deluxe Dining program. I have a bunch of photos and decided its about time to now do a trip report.
I have started my report on my blog http://dis-n-that.blogspot.com/
We hit dining spots in all 4 parks as well as the Beach Club and Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. After the Disney World portion of our trip we took a 3 day cruise on the Disney Dream and I took photos of the food on the cruise as well. I will try to post some here but most will be in the blog since thats just easier.
Overall the food was great. I do think the Deluxe Dining was just a little too much food and we couldnt use all the credits we had in the period of time we were there.
Here are a few pictures from Beaches and Cream to start off.

First is a picture of the Kitchen Sink being made. No, we didnt order this! but it sure was fun to watch!

I will try to keep up adding some more pictures but I know I will on the blog for sure.

great start - going over to look at your Blog now. did you sub the fruit for fries on the side of your burger?

We ate lunch at Yak and Yeti on the deluxe dining plan. We enjoyed the overall experience at this restaurant and the food was very good. We ended up having a great table location on the second floor with the best views.

For our appetizer we got the Lettuce Cups which were very flavorful. The lettuce was crispy and the filling had good flavor and was not overly salty which sometimes happens.
HPIM3708.jpg

and the 2nd appetizer was the seared Ahi Tuna which was my favorite. The tuna was very tasteful and it was nice and light.
HPIM3709.jpg

the first main entree was the Lo Mein Noodles which was also good
HPIM3710.jpg

my main entree was the Crispy Mahi Mahi which was extremely good! The fish was lightly fried and was crispy. The sauce was a good match to the light flavor of the fish.
HPIM3712.jpg

the desserts were also very tasty and we had Mango Pie

and I had to try the popular Fried Won Tons. This dessert was delicious and was on my list of favorites from the trip.

We had never ate at the sit down Yak and Yeti but I am glad we gave it a try. I would definetly give it another go if given the chance. The staff was friendly and the overall environment of the restaurant was excellent.:thumbsup2

Looks like you are off to a great start!! My DS loved mango, so I bet he'd like the dessert @ Y&Y!!! Is B&C on the DDP?

We had lunch at Chef De France as part of the Candlelight Processional Package. The lunch package included appetizer, entree, dessert, processional seating and preferred viewing area for Illuminations.
Chef De France was a new dining experience for us, in our trips to Disney World we had not ate here. We checked in and were seated after a short wait. We had a nice view out of a window onto the promenade area of France.

At the end of the meal we were given all the information for our Candlelight Package and Illuminations viewing entry.

We both agreed we really liked this restaurant and would enjoy returning. The favorite was the French Onion Soup as the gruyere cheese absolutely delicious!

Le Chefs is a favorite of ours and your food photos and review confirm why. :thumbsup2 I love the french onion soup as well. I definitely need to try the profiteroles. :upsidedow
