Disney World Budgeting

So, I am making my budget list and I don't know how much I should budget for souveniers. Neither my husband or I have been to DW so I have no idea how much things will cost.

We are going for our honeymoon so I want us to be able to splurge a little and have some good memories - but I don't want to be spending a thousand dollars either. lol Any suggestions on a good daily budget and/or weekly budget? (we are going for 5 days/6 nights)

Also, is there anything out of the norm we should budget for (something you didnt budget for and realized you should have when you got there?)

When are you going? They have a honeymoon registry. That really helped us on our honeymoon do things we wouldn't have normally done.

We are going April 6-12.

I registered for the Disney Honeymoon registry but I don't understand how that would help for budgeting... lol sorry?

What types of things are you looking for? That might help others tell you the cost. T-shirts/Sweatshirts/Dressy Clothes? Mouse-ears/hats? Mugs? Beach Towels? There are gift shops EVERYWHERE so it's hard to know what to tell someone. You really could spend thousands. There is beautiful artwork and inexpensive pens and pencils. There's a variety of kitchen items, again from a little money to a bit pricey. You can have glass items engraved from mugs to wine/champagne glasses etc. The list goes on.

Your best bet might be to decide how much you CAN spend and just stick within that budget. I am bringing $600 - but I have 2 kids. They will want EVERYTHING!
BTW, there is no science behind my number - I just kind of made it up.

Well... I dont want any souveniers that are junky or cheap looking.. I will want postcards and inexpensive paper things because I am a scrapbooker and my husband and I always put together a collage of all our trips..

Def want a frame or two because I am a huge picture person..

I will also prolly get the hubby a mug with his name (we always do that) and def a shot glass or two (or 8 lol - we collect those) and of course the bride and groom ears..

lol is there anywhere I can find a list of averge souveniers and prices?
