Disney World Apps...

Hi!

My husband and I just got smart phones, I know...we're like the last people in the country to do so , and now I don't know where to find the apps! Could someone please point me in the right direction? And, do most cost or should I be able to find free ones? I tried google, but the first list I found said that the mydisneyexperience app was $200, so I thought I'd better come to the experts.Thanks!!

Touring plans has an app but only download that if you subscribe

I think the MDX app will direct you to the shopping app, but if not or if you want to find it directly, look for "Shop Disney Parks" it's an official one. The one to play games at the parks (and dis music) is "Play Disney Parks" and it's official as well. All free. To plan and do FP's and such you just need My Disney Experience (MDE or MDX is the acronym for it).

This. It's the lines app and it always loads quickly and doesn't crash. More accurate wait times and it also tells you what fps are available. I use it more than MDE in the parks.
Since you are new to smartphones I'll add to always download apps from the official app store for your device...google play for android and app store for Iphones. Most apps are free.

I just Googled again - best Disney World apps- and the second item is the one that I looked at: toms guide . com (no spaces, of course). Looking further on the site it's very confusing...leads you to a page in Arabic (?). Anyway, glad I asked here!
