Does anyone know when you can start booking vacation to Disney World for 2012? Thanx

You can't book thru disney until they come out with the 2012 rates and promotions. Disney usually announces the next years rates in august.

I think I read that you can book through calling WDW but they will give you the highest rate from that month for the past year. Then adjust the rate accordingly once the new room rates and ticket prices come out later this year. Or you can wait until August.

Typically they announce the next year sometime in August. As others have mentioned you can book 2012 now. They also may not have the availability in the system for 2012.
