Just called ME and tried to book for my November trip and they said NO WAY! I have booked my trip with VH and they say because of this I am not eligable for ME. I went to VH and got my booking number that VH used with Disney but they didn't even ask me for that!

This is the second BAD experience I have had with Disney within a month - I am starting to loose my "Disney Magic" - I think their customer services has really gone down hill!

I know their are others who have booked ME even though they have booked with VH - how did you do this?

That's a pain =[ I'm not sure what to suggest other than calling back.. You might get a different person who is more helpful? If they really won't budge then I think Virgin Holidays include airport transfers in all their packages if you aren't taking the hire car.

VH Owns your reservations. Disney is not permitted by contract with VH to make any changes. You must deal with VH

Called a different number as suggested on the transport board and got it booked! Just goes to show it's worth trying a differnt CM!

Glad you got it sorted, we are using ME for the first time too.

I am so glad we got ME it's great! We used it for the first time a few weeks ago and it saves so much time! VH wanted to charge us for transfers to the resort and they don't collect your luggage!

We always book with Virgin and the last two occasions have used DME - have NEVER had any problems. Not having to worry about luggage is wonderful.

:confused3 VH transfers are supposedly free so why use ME?? :confused3 I'm gonna check the transfers when I ring VH next;) just t make sure I've got it correct.

VH told me there was a charge for the transfers. I like ME as they collect your suitcase at the second luggage pick up for you and transfer them to you room!:)

OK, I'm a little lost on this one. When I've flown with Virgin before they've picked me up at the airport and taken me and my bags to the hotel. I don't recall paying extra for this service.

I've just booked our holiday to WDW and again I didn't see any extras for the transfer.:confused3

However, I did see the ME offer, but when I read it, it appeared to be only linked to US internal airlines so I haven't bothered to follow it up. So, If I can book ME, I do like the idea of somebody else taking my suitcases to the hotel for me. How do you book it and how much does it cost?

We've just booked ME through Virgin. It's a free service to Disney Resort guests, and only if you are arriving at Orlando International Airport.

VH would not let me book ME with them, they only gave me the option of payable transfers - I can't remember how much they quoted. To be honest though I think the it depends who you speak to at VH - I have had different staff tell me different things so maybe the staff member I booked with was mis informed about the charge of the transfers.

Richard - the advantage of ME is that they collect your luggage at the second carousel and send it to your room. Do VH do this or do you have to take it to the bus yourself?

Just got off the 'phone with virgin they told me the transfers are free:thumbsup2 and we've definitely got them for both arrival and departure:thumbsup2 While I was on hold they also played a message that informed me that anyone who made bookings on or before 12/12/06 WILL NOT have to pay the extra government tax because Virgin have absorbed the cost:thumbsup2 We WILL NOT be asked to pay extra at the airport or prior to departure. As long as this remains the case we will happy with this arrangement:goodvibes :goodvibes

Have booked through Virgin for November and have booked a hire car. Does anybody know if we can still get ME and one of our party take the car and the other 7 go on the bus. It would just save loading all the luggage into the car - it is always a squeeze and the 8 seater vans don't hold all the people, luggage and golf clubs! I'm willing to ring Disney direct to book it if anybody thinks that would help?
