Disney Wonder September 3, 2012. Seattle to Vancouver 7 night Alaska Cruise!

I just wanted to extended a greeting to all those cruising the Disney Wonder on Sept 3rd. I just recently joined the FE club..... and am certainly looking forward to meeting you all for a fantastic adventure. Never been to Alaska and never cruised Disney. So a few firsts for my husband and myself. We are cruising with our wonderful family- my sister, her husband and a beautiful neice. We are in the process of restoring an 104 yr old house in the country and love antiques(old stuff), old cars, animals of every kind,travel, and food- i am a vegetarian and my husband loves meat..Opposites attract..We are in our 40's enough said, and we hope to meet many and make life long friends and memories.

Last year, we met in Diversions at 2 p.m. on Sail-Away day. Do we want to do that again?

I think a meet-up is a great idea. However I think we need to find a different time. The last cruise we went on this time didn't work. I know check is until 4 and the muster drill is usually 4:15 or 4:30. After that is the deck party and then dinner or show depending on your seating. We had a lot of people miss the meet up because they had to check in later in the day due to flights

My husband makes complex origami creations out of paper--always. Generally X-Wing and Tie Fighters.

So my daughter, picking up on this, has us announced as "That Dang Family," so look for that.

I would love to see your husband make an origami X-Wing!! I'm a big Star Wars fan.

We will try to make whatever time is agreed upon!! We will not have our flight schedule until 45 days out due to having to make a change to our departure airport.

Hi, I'm ZookeeperSusie. This is my first Cruise ever. I am cruising with my husband of 39 years AKA ZookeeperAl and my daughter WhosGoofy. ROFL
We went to Disney Land when our girls were young and 4 years ago we went to Disney World. I have always been impressed by Disney and the way they treat their guests.

My Mom had wanted as many of her kids and grandkids as could to go on an Alaskan Cruise with her. We lost her to cancer May 6, 2011, so she never got to make this cruise. My sister, AKA Lil Bugger, and brother in law are joining us and we are taking this trip in memory of her.

We did 3pm on our last cruise and I think everyone made it. After the deck party, things are busy until bed time, aren't they? I know some folks have brunch on the first at sea day, would there be a time in the morning that would work? Maybe we could figure it out a little closer when everyone has port arrival times better nailed down??

I'm so glad this board is growing! I was worried there for a bit

As far as a meet up, I'm cool with pretty much anything the rest of you decide, as the best part of vacatoions for me is the relief from making and decicisions any bigger than what to order at mealtime! Add my wife and I to the late 30's age group, but we are kept young by our 4 wonderful nieces and one nephew, none of whom will be on this cruise. We are currently shopping for FE gifts, and can't wait for this cruise. We will be easy to spot, we will be the Anaheim Ducks fans on the cruise!

I am planning on making our FE this weekend and I'm really excited about it. We also got some of our gifts in today and it would be great to know everyones favorite Disney Character.
