I found that POC 3 helped make sense of the other two movies. I will want to see it again, but it was not all that hard. If you remember that some things are hallucinations that you share with a character but others in the crew would not see them, then you will probably be fine.

Thanks again to Tae Ja for posting the wedding report for me. I do not know how to get the pictures in there.

That's my motto! We already had our first Tropical Storm.. right on the first day of hurricane season. Go figure. I'm sure Erica can agree that we got off easy this time. Here's hoping and praying for a calm season.

Hi Lisa!!! ThANKS!!!!! We told Tim we were going to switch and he can go live with his friends family! It was a beautiful day! we were out on the lake for 3 hours!! Then had a picnic dinner!!! It was a great time!!!

Okay.. so I've realistically looked at things and decided that as nice as doing this cruise to Spain might be, I can't afford it.
I realized this today.. when I went to work at a different bank branch to pick up extra hours because corporate cut me back at my home branch and I can't afford my bills if I don't go work at this other branch (that is 30 minutes away!)

ANYWAY.. so I come home and I'm not feeling the greatest in the world and I get online and what do I see? A DING! I check them out and they're amazing fares out of Columbus ...

Soo.. I call them and they cancel the $120.80 DING! I'd previously booked to go see Greg in Orlando for July.. and show me how to reuse it to book the new $80.80 DING! for my same dates. So now I have a $40 SW credit. What to do.. hmm..

So I poke around and decide to see if the DING! is valid for mine and Lindsey's dates.. it is. And it'd be $105 cheaper, per ticket, than the flights I'd already booked on USAir.

Soo.. I call USAir. The flights had a schedule change. The lady gives me a FULL refund back to my CC.

..so I run over to the DING! page and rebook Lindsey and I on flights (we lose two hours in Orlando, but save $105 so to that!).. and using my leftover credit, both our RT tickets were $149..

So then I decide I deserve to take a long weekend and go on another trip because I've been saving good and I'm a little sad I have said no to Spain.. and so I poke around and decide California sounds nice.

I posted on the DIS (thanks Taeja!) to try to pick a city to go to by myself but! at the last minute, remembered someone who might go with me. I give her a call, two minutes later she agrees and I let her pick between Burbank and San Diego. She is old enough to rent a car and I have cheaper corporate rates in Burbank.. so we go with Burbank. Five minutes later I book us two RT flights from Columbus-Burbank for 202.20. Thats total for BOTH of us.

So... by the time I was done doing all my switcheroos, I was still $60++ including the cost of the flight to LA!


*edit* NEVERMIND on that $60.. my brother called for me to book him a flight to come home for a few days while it was $80/round trip.
Not sure if I'll ever see the money for it, so I may be out $20.. but STILL!

...today I went to see my surgeon.

Got lost. Got a speeding ticket trying to get in front of a car to make our exit.. then found out I'm patient 3 of several hundred thousand to have a "response" to my surgery and have to go back for a little extra .. stuff.

Thank you!!!! I am really getting excited!!!!! Now that fun day is over thats the next thing to look forward too!!!!!! They were suppose to get 1-7 of SNOW yesterday with a low of 29!!!! Yucks!!!!!

Oh trust me, I know...
I got to ride a horse, though, at the KY Horse Park. Which was fun!

Next week I am scheduled 50 hours between three locations in the area... and it'll fall on my July 13th payday, five days before my ticket is due! Woohoo, I'll be able to afford it!

Miracles do come every once in awhile, eh?


I want to see lots of pictures, Vicki! Places like that always interest me. The touristy without being touristy like WDW.
