Well his urine had some blood so they went the kidney stone route but the radiologist said in the CT no stone but some lines and swelling near the appendix. SO ?? They said if he gets worse bring him back.
Hopefully it won't turn into anything major....hang in there! Send him our best! :wave2:

Thanks Lisa and everyone else I will let Tim know!

Not a bad price for the blanket either. ;)

Pirates was awesome......I think a little scary for some of the kids who were in there though - the Kracken scared the crap out of me!

I think you all need to add one more item to the pirate goodie bags:
a jar of dirt.

Only funny if you've seen it.

I can't wait to see the Flying Dutchman in person. What a creepy boat! My husband was desperately hoping it would be tour-able.....guess we'll be renting one of those little sailboats so we can get nice and close :Pinkbounc

Happy Saturday! I am off to Target to get some more travel items. It's getting close! :woohoo:

Wow! What a great idea! I've seen the little jars of colored sand so you can make your own sand art--what a great way to tie it in to the movie! I don't know how the parents would feel about a craft like this, but if I could keep my daughter out of it until we would be able to do it without making a mess, she'd looooove it!

Logan--if you're out there, I saw pirate coats on eBay for as low as $65.00. They looked like they were good construction to me, but be careful because you usually get what you pay for. Then again, most people don't look for costumes the way I do--my costumes have to be wearable for 8 weekends of hard use--so I guess you might not have to worry about that. :lmao: I'm also heading up to the Renaissance Festival tomorrow, and I know that one of the shops has pirate coats, so let me know if you want me to shop for you. :thumbsup2 Because it breaks my heart to have to shop....not!

Yesterday was my son's birthday, and we got to see POTC II twice. I did catch a lot more the second time through! My 7 year old sat through it both times, and she loved it. We had no trouble with her being scared at all, but that's the kind of kid she is. Now, if it had been aliens, she would have been terrified...

I need to order some stuff from deadmentellnotales.com very soon, so if anyone has any objections to me getting those black spots for the goody bags, speak soon or it'll be too late.

Vicki, I hope your son is okay! We'll be sending some good energy your way.

Oh! I forgot to mention...

We booked the dolphin encounter on Thursday! I know, I know, we left it very late. Disney is sold out, and Shoretrips.com is too. We had to call the Dolphin Encounters pace itself. So if anyone else is looking to do this excursion, be warned, and book NOW.

LOVE the jars of dirt idea! :rotfl2: I thought it was such a great movie. My 6 year old DD loved it as well! I am sure when we finally get to own the DVD, she'll be watching it non stop (me too!)

I will let Logan know about the pirate coats. Is that what you searched for "pirate coat"? We have some of the Jack Sparrow action figures (yes, we are THAT crazy about the movie) and Logan has been walking around with one of the little plastic Jacks saying "THIS is the kind of coat that I want." :lmao:

Speaking of Logan, he has been working a TON this summer! I barely see him. When he gets home, he usually passes out. He is still very excited about the cruise and pirate party.

ETA: I am searching eBay and just found this:http://cgi.ebay.com/Jack-Sparrow-ex...ryZ60361QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
For $800 I was kind of hoping for Johnny Depp himself! YIKES :rotfl:

....still thinking about Tim. Hope all is okay with him! :goodvibes

Hey Everyone!
Sorry I haven't been on the dis in forever. Like my mom said, Ive been working TONS lately. 5, 12 hr days in one week, on minimum wage-lol-VERY tiring but I still have time to get excited about the cruise and the pirate party. We all at work had to get new pants, and one of my friends said to one of the other kids-"haha! Dude! You look like a Pirate!" That thought was in my head all day... pirate:

Dawn- That would be great if you could look for me. How much do they usually sell for? I am right now looking for a picture to give you a better idea. THANKS pirate:

POTCII was AMAZING!!! My little brother read the little picture book and told me all the main points in the movie before I actually saw it. Where I was sitting in the theatre, there was a group of about 10 boys, ranging from 7-11 years old and the part that seemed to spook them was in the begining when the two men were dragging that guy, and all of the ravens/crows started pecking at the corpses in the cages, all the kids were squirming around, other than that it was good in terms of scary-ness. To anyone seeing it for the second time- this is for you- when the crew first enters Tia Dalma's shack for the first time, Jack hands Tia a monkey that "doesn't die" when she opens the cage and the monkey will run offscreen. then they talk and the camera goes back to the monkey, when it does, you will see the boots of the person you meet at the end of the movie, the next time the crew goes to the shack. I would definately see it again! I found before i saw the movie on deadmentellnotales.com about the third movie, Uncharted Waters. Yowza, that's quite expensive. He could get a custom coat for around $300, so these people must be banking on someone being willing to pay extra for an exact replica of Jack Sparrow's coat.

Yes, I searched for the words "pirate coat" on eBay. You can also look for "frock coat" but that generally brings up more Civil War era jackets. I think the prices on eBay are very high right now because the movie just came out and there's a surge in popularity. :sad2: I'm sorry, I should have spoken up sooner. But I promise I'll take my camera to the Festival tomorrow and take pictures of the coats, and get some prices. My son is very interested in getting one for himself, too. I've decided to use Simplicity pattern #4923 for my husband's coat. You can take a look at it online if you want--I'm willing to bet that it's very similar to what Logan wants. I just spent three hours finishing my husband's cloak for the Festival--only four weeks late, and it's rained every week --so I'm revved up and ready to sew!

They just changed the minimum bid price from $800 to $900! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:
