YES!!! I finally fixed my signature. I was working on it for over an hour and my computer was starting to get on my nerves!!! Enjoy!!!

Since our party of 10 is split into two groups traveling to WDW separately, Tammy & family (from MA) will already be at AKL for the "land" portion of their vacation the week prior to cruising. My family will rent a van (1 way) from Ft. Myers to WDW the Friday night prior to our cruise. We will return the van that night or early the next a.m. Sunday morning, hopefully EARLY, we will have a driver take the 10 of us to Port. Then, when we return from our cruise we'll rent another van (1 way) & drive from the Port back to Ft Myers. We tossed around different ways to do this and feel like this is the most practical way. yeesh!

I have gotten 3 prices for the trip to/from ship from wdw.

Two were $145 +20% tip. Disney was a flat $30pp each way..

Since we are taking Amtrak from NJ, I will need to get private transportation from Amtrak to AKL, then take Disney from AKL to ship (the ship will wait for you if there is a problem, traffic etc. if you elect Disney transport) and then a private van from the ship back to Amtrak. All in all about $370 for the (5) of us..most vans hold up to 9 or 10 passengers..

We live in NY - but we haven't been on any vacation since the trip in 2004 so we are going all out for this one!!!!

The cruise is the first part of our trip. We are going to WDW for 10 days after our cruise. DH and I were talking about it last night and we so want to go now!!! Can't wait

Lundve, my family will be at WDW after the cruise for 9 days. We intend to stay onsite 9/2, then have a towncar take us to the port. Not sure what we're doing on the way back, because we really want to see Kennedy Space Center.

Yes, I looked at his 1 .......Its just creepy that he said, "I noticed your post about plans to visit Disney after a cruise if Florida is clear of storms and thought you could offer an interesting perspective.". Out of all the thousands of other cruisers HE found me. That's what's freaked me out about the whole thing. I contacted the Tech forum and the webmaster was like- he sounds legit, what's the prob, he even started a thread asking a similar question. I guess I'm more paranoid that its not a how do you do this or where'd you get that kind of question. There are freaky/creepy people out there and this post just got me a little scared.

There is nothing suspect in the PM that you've posted. I think the accusations made here are unfair and a pretty big overreaction.

I will request that you edit the PMs you've posted to remove the phone number and the email address. The person who PMd that message to you did not publicly post his phone or email address, and it's unfair to him that you have done so here.

You are not going to get worms in your computer by responding to a PM or an email. And since 407 is the Orlando area code, it's pretty far-fetched to think that there is any sex line scam involved.

In fact, a quick Google of that phone number will show that it does belong to the news agency that the person who sent the message told you he works for.

I think you owe him an apology, and I again request that you edit any posts where you've published his personal contact information ASAP.

My friends, I may not be around much longer. Depending on how this webmaster reacts to my PM, my fate is in her hands. I sent her a reply (keeping this between she and I) instead of dragging you all through the mud. I truly feel her reply on this thread was unnecessary since she posted a similar reply over on the thread I left over on the Tech forum. We'll see. Who knows big DIS brother may delete recent posts so if I disappear.....

THE DISboard is a good forum. I have enjoyed posting until recent events. For believing what I believe, I got scolded/corrected. Here's hoping I won't get banned.

I have read and re-read my posts left in the early morning and I HAVE NO SECOND THOUGHTS OR REGRETS ABOUT WHAT I ORIGINALLY POSTED. IF the webmaster has a problem w/ what I've posted, she can take the DIS eraser and use it.

This is an interesting way to get to 2,000 posts.
