I think she is at the dinner and she is inside the dining room not in the lobby like at breakfast.
Fairy Godmother is inside the restaurant, but will not go table to table. That was the major dilemma when I originally booked the dinner at CRT. They do a little "show" but there's no personal interaction.

If i remeber correctly, the FGmother was on the Wonder when we went in 2004. It may be a hit or miss depending on what characters will be aboard when we are, but maybe your dd could see her on land and sea!

I have come to realize that I have been neglecting my family b/c I 've been on the DIS. I was on the DIS when I was supposed to be focusing on the Ebay (which I may start again), but the computer is really pulling me away from those I should be paying attention to. Man, I posted so much Thurs. night, and then on Friday, and more on Sat.. The DIS can be very addicting. There are forums I refuse to even look at b/c I don't want to be drawn/sucked in. So, I am going to put myself in DIS timeout. I'm going to try and not post between all days between the hours of 12Noon to 5-6pm. If I have time to post, I will and this also includes lurking. So, from adict's stand point, I'm going to go nuts, but from a mother's stand point I have to do what is right for my family. I can already hear you all nodding your head, you too Bill. So, I'm not saying goodbye, just I'll post you later. IF I HAPPEN TO POST DURING MY RESTRICTED TIMES, JUST CLICK ON MY SCREEN NAME AND CLICK ON THE E-MAIL LINE (I think I still have that option), report me to my family. Thanks all for your understanding.

Side note, I had 32 messages in my Inbox Friday b/c I had gotten so many new post updates. :sad2:

Please don't report me today! :worship:

Tae Ja--I would try someplace like Linens N Things for dishtowels. I don't really know, most of mine are hand-me-downs from grandmothers. :rotfl2: Sometimes you just can't beat the quality of the old stuff.

I know! Guess what I'll be looking for as garage sale season gets under way, people's old dish towels!. I don't think you can even find old towels on Ebay. :rotfl2: I'll look, but I highly doubt it.

I'm reporting myself! See, its 3:50pm and I'm posting!!!! Help!

Thanks guys, I have to confess that I'm kind of glad that we don't have to go to CRT--the food just didn't sound like our kind of thing, and I was uncomfortable with pre-plated meals. Who knows if my DD will eat that? And it's a waste of money if she doesn't. However, I've heard very good things about 1900 Park Fare--for once, the search function on this board turned up some fantastic results, and I got a great review of all the dinners that the Fairy Godmother attends. We're figuring out our meal itinerary right now with a great spreadsheet I found--we're doing the dining plan, and the spreadsheet is to help us make sure we use all of our meal credits. We'll be at WDW for 9 days after the cruise, so we *should* be able to figure out a way to see the Fairy Godmother during that time.

Tae Ja, I totally went through what you're going through. I had to *severely* cut back the number of forums I read, and the lists I get in my e-mail. Most days, I only read this thread. I did do quite a bit of research for my family's vacation, but I had to work really hard to cut back to the point where I wasn't reading *everything*. Good luck, and know that I'm rooting for you!

I HATE working such early shifts, but at least its decent pay...

I dont like the daylight shift either-I am NOT a morning person. The night shift or grave yard isnt too bad. I really dont like 3-11 either-very busy but at least at 11pm I am going home and to my bed not coming to work!! :sunny:

I apologize for Logan's slap-happy posting. :rolleyes1

Enjoy that last few hours of your weekend. I am off to watch Desperate Housewives and Gray's Anatomy.

I logged into cruise chat this past Friday night. Someone brought up the idea of ordering wristbands as a way to identify fellow DISboard folk. They're the same idea as the LIVESTRONG bands. They come in three sizes and they allow you the choice of color, size and sayings, even artwork. These would be an option for those not interested in the T shirt idea, or to compliment it. Anyone interested in something like that? :confused3 Here's a link what they were talking about: http://www.reminderband.com/?utm_id=8&gclid=CPeolYeo_4MCFRsBNAodLW_Meg

I think they're pretty cool. Any takers?

EXACTLY! To be honest, I'd prefer the wristband to the neon green tshirt. I think that most of the folks in my party would feel the same.

Don't you know that honesty will get you flamed here on the DIS! It's true, but I'm just kidding you ;). The wristbands sound like a great addition/ substitution! :thumbsup2 I'll have to look at your link later. So, should we go with lime green if they have it?

My kids are on Spring break this week. At 10:00 am my 4yr. old ds has gotten himself in trouble. :sad2:

You know, I thought long and hard before posting about my honest opinion. I held my breath though, and posted anyway because you guys all SEEM kind...and you wouldn't totally BLAST me :teeth: for not wanted to look like a giant grape in a lime green shirt. :lmao: :rotfl: I think the shirts will be adorable, I just know that my gang will be reluctant to wear them. I hate to go through all the trouble of buying and making the 10 shirts to have them stuffed in the bottom of our suitcases. I'll be lucky if everyone actually WEARS the wristbands...but it's more likely that will happen.

We could defintely buy neon green bands to keep in the DISboard theme. I think the folks in the chat were talking about using the three circle Mickey-head type artwork on the bands as well. I don't think you're permitted to use an actual Mickey picture as it is a copyright but the three heads were okay. That's another option to explore if everyone likes it. I think they'd be cute and make a nice keepsake.

I should have kept track of who had mentioned all of this, they definitely deserve credit for the great ideas :worship: .

Enjoy spring break, don't let them wear you down. Mine have two weeks until theirs start. Right now, I am looking forward to it. Let's see how I feel one day into it. :teeth:

DH last night was awesome! I was so disappointed that Grey's was a rerun. Especially since it was the episode where Meredith makes a complete fool of herself grooveling (sp?) over McDreamy. Have some self-respect woman!!!
