thought about posting a whole page by myself, but I'm not seeing very well. Personally, waiting every 40 sec. to post another little word is just draining. So, post you all tomorrow! :)

I'm walking away from the computer-now.......

Taeja dont know how you do it. At 2:05am I would be dead!!!
I dont know of anywhere to get WW costumes. DD was always Princesses.

Here's one for $24.99. I know that is a little high but the costumes at KMart was $19.99 the other day. I spent way too much on DS's Dash costume but it's the single parent guilt trip thing I put on myself. Your kids don't have that advantage :rotfl2: just kidding :rolleyes1 I try very hard not to buy him things. His paternal side compensates with $$$ and material items for their lack of involvement so the kid has a toy store in his room. I typically buy him stuff only at holidays. He looks so cool in his costume. My mom has a digital camera so I will post pictures when she comes and visits.

As for Kevin, he hates planning and when I say he hates planning, we have a big group of people going to the football game tomorrow. I have no idea what time we will be leaving or when the people riding with us will meet at his house. The scary thing is, neither does he. That would be planning so can't do that. The last game I showed up "late". I asked "How can I be late when no one told me what time to be here?" :confused3

He has only two faults, he refuses to plan anything and he is sometimes too nice (ie people, especially his bosses, take advantage of his laid back nature)
So he won't plan nor get excited about anything 2 weeks in advance let alone 10 months. I can pretty much tell you that if when we board that ship and they announce us, he doesn't get somewhat excited he will be on vacation without me! Part of me thinks it would be a bad idea to bring him because I have wanted to do this for so long. I know he will be wonderful and smile and be a great travel companion, I just want him to have fun and like it. I am counting on DCL's ability to turn the most skeptical person around. Maybe that's wishing for too much :rotfl:

It is very rainy :umbrella: looks like soccer practice will be cancelled.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

I don't know of anywhere to get Wonder Woman costumes, sorry Taeja. DD is going to be Cinderella, then she can use the dress againfor dinner on the cruise. Also, we are going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party next weekend so she'll wear it there, too. We have passes to Sea World so we're going there the day before Mickey's Not So Scary. They also have a Trick or Treating event so DD will be a pirate girl there (and again, wear the costume on the cruise.) pirate: Any reason to justify buying stuff for the cruise :rotfl:

Lesson for next year, check for costume availability and price before presenting possible Halloween costume ideas. LOL! I drug the kids to a couple shops and found a WW costume R's size for $36.00. Blech! I'm still going to search Ebay.

Thanks Kerry for helping search for me. When I found that site I thought, Oh, wow! Cool, but then noticed the out-of-stock statement at the bottom. If they weren't out of stock, I would've bought it right then and there!

Vicki- you must be an hour ahead of me, b/c it was 1 a.m. ish when I left my last post. :rotfl2:

I am so tired. I was doing fine until I started working on dinner. My eyes are just not focusing and my brain is frozen.

Well, I'll keep you all posted about my quest for WW. Have a wonderful weekend all!

Teaja try this. In stock for $27.18. I want to be Wonder Woman as well but no adult halloween parties in sight for me. :rotfl:

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I did

Thank you! I'm still pulling my hair out trying to find my girls' costumes. The link you sent me has both reasonable pricing and shipping.

It's cold and I don't want to do any thing. I think my body is starting to get into hibernation mode.

I'm recovering from having my kids' friends over. I'm exhausted!

Hope every one is well! :wave2:

O.k., we're moving on and trying to convince eldest DD of another costume. The reason I'm awake this late is I HAD to go grocery shopping and the Ebay action ends in about 5min. Robyn said she'd be Strawberry Shortcake. Whew! I didn't know if we had to battle her to change her mind. We're scratching the WW and WW's little sister idea for this year....maybe next year. Any ideas for red hair? I don't want to dye it and I don't think R' would like wearing a wig. Do you all have any suggestions of what I can do? I thought about making like a red yarn mop head of hair, but that might be too Raggedy Ann-ish.

So, we've got the following: Strawberry Shortcake, "Sleeping Booty" as Kimi calls her, and Darth Vader.

Hope all your Halloween plans are coming together! Happy planning! :)

Disney store had an Ariel wig on sale. Dont know what else you could do.

TaeJa: Dye it! That's my vote. They make temporary stuff that washes out. I did sections of my hair with temporary stuff when I was in college. It washed out. Most came out in the first wash although it took a few more to get it all out. If the wig won't work than I would dye.

Boy I am glad I do not have a girl!!!!! :earsboy:

Halloween will be fun. We have a costume party on the 29th and trick or treating on the 31st. My mom is coming up so it will be a blast! Do not stress!

Don't stress? I think stress is in my blood stream. LOL! Well, costume ideas are coming together slowly. I can't believe how much costume items are already sold or disappearing off the shelves already. I ended up buying Cam Darth vader gloves on Ebay today just b/c I called around and no body had them. I am already tired of seeing the X-mas decorations out. I'm NOT ready for that holiday mentally or financially!
