Big day at the local party store for us! We were scoping out all the cool pirate goodies for Pirate Night! We have lots of big plans for what we want to wear. Here's hoping that our wallets can keep up with our ideas!

So glad you found great things at the party store, did you see any "rings" for girls? BTW, which party store did you go to? We have Party City and Factory card outlet here.

I don't want to scare you, butjust wait until you get your KTTW card. That little card is dangerous! When we received our stateroom bill at the end (last year), I about died. So, if you can set some $$$ aside before the cruise that will definately ease the shock. We were below $800. (family of 5), but I've heard of other families getting billed in the $1,000 range for the four day cruise.

Vicki- How's Tim doing with the Mickey/Wonder/CC design?

Kerry- Hope all is well with you. Are you dry? Or are vehicles floating?

Welcome markncheryl!! Sorry for the delayed response. If you want to be linked for dining purposes. PM me the total head count in your party. You won't actually sit at a table with other DIS'ers since your group is so large. You will have your own table and just be in the vicinity. Our tables should all be around one another.

I have been tending to my sick child and really have been too tired to keep my eyes open long enough to look at the computer. I apologize for not posting.

Kerry, I hope your son is better soon! Is it anything serious? Two of my kids have ear infections but thankfully, they're really not as miserable as they've been in the past! Always something with kids, that's for sure!

We've been to the pirate aisle in Party City three times in the last couple of days. Along with Party City, we have also have a locally owned party store that we'll be visiting soon, I'm sure! We are trying to figure out a way to get to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party next month so that would be another excuse to start stocking up on our pirate attire (not that we really need an excuse! .)

Hello!

DS is doing much better. His ear infection continues to ooze out his ear but at least I know the tubes work. I actually got a good nights sleep last night.

I just ordered his halloween costume from Disneydirect.com. He is going to be Dash from the Incredibles. I also ordered the rolling Mickey Mouse cooler. I will let you all know how it looks in person when I get it.

I am starting to shop for my cruise. I made a list of all the things I will need and every weekend at Walmart or the dollar store I pick something up. This week was the cooler so I probably won't get anything until after the next payday.

I am nervous to buy stuff for Pirate Night until it gets closer. I am afraid that DCL will discontinue then I will have all this Pirate stuff. I probably will shop for some small misc items after Halloween for the clearance savings.

If I can figure out how to make iron on transfer stuff I will probably just make t-shirts for the kids and then get some Pirate accessories.

Hope hump day is treating all of you well. It's pizza night so no cooking. Wendy's DD is staying with us and DBF is coming over so we should have a great night!

Ker-bear, glad to hear that your son is doing better!!!

I bought the surfboard themed Mickey soft sided cooler from Disneydirect a few months ago. It's really cute! I haven't used it yet though, I've been saving it for the cruise. I keep going back and forth about whether or not I should take it. I am not sure we'll really need it for bringing drinks on board but maybe we'll want to use it when we're in the Islands. Then again, I have read some posts here on the DIS where the people said it would be cumbersome to drag around. If nothing else, it will make a cute carryon.

I have been picking up stuff for the cruise on and off, too. When our local Disney Store had their summer clearance I bought some sand toys and a swimsuit for Teia. I want to surprise her with it when we're on board. I wish I could think of something cool for my teenage sons. Any suggestions??

I bought Teia's (5) Halloween costume at Sam's Club this past weekend. She is going to be Cinderella . I thought it was a good idea, she can wear the dress to dinner on the cruise, too.

Off to figure out something for dinner. Pizza sounds awesome!!!

I have no idea about costumes for teenagers! I would do something scary like a vampire or hatchett man type of thing.

As for the cooler, mine will be filled with adult beverages that cannot be mailed to myself at the ship. It will be used for souvenirs when we leave.

1 Bag uncooked Success White Rice (3/4 cups)
1 Can(10 3/4 oz) Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup water
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
11/2 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breast
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4oz)


Mix rice, soup, water, onion powder and black pepper in a 2 quart shallow baking dish. Top with chicken. Sprinkle chicken with pepper. Cover

Bake at 375 for 45 mins or until chicken is no longer pink and rice is done.

Uncover, Sprinkle cheese over chicken.
