Ahhh, and the tea light holder is cute too!

O.k., cruise question...Which restaurant/rotation has the seafood? I may be asking fo sushi as an hor dourves/appitizer (sp?) every night.

Are there any new menu changes we should know about? Who sailed the Wonder most recently, fill us in on what's going on, please.

I just had to share what I did to our front window last night. I got the idea after taking DD to school. I thought the window looked a little bare, so I fxied it. The one photo that is sideways is now fixed.

I can't wait to share w/ you what I have planned for my van! There are no Steeler banners, flags, etc. out here. The colts stuff is starting to go on clearance- about time. Well, once I get my van project done, I'll post a pic of that too. :woohoo:

I'm just a little hyped about the Steelers...and its only taken me 12 years to do it.

Hi, we too are cruising with you all!

Me 31 at the time
Dh 31 will turn 32 on the cruise
DD 3 will turn 4 on the cruise

We are from Mexico, will stay in stateroom 5132, have a late seating for dinner and will probably eat by ourselves because we don´t want to make anyone uncomfortable because although dh and I speak english, dd doesn´t yet, and we would probably be speaking a lot of spanish in the table, it wouldn´t be fair either to dd for us to just speak english with the rest of the people when she doesn´t understand it. But we are looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome!!!! I hope you will join us at the meets. My spanish is broken and not put to much use since moving away from south Florida in 2003. But I understand Spanglish very well!!! :)

Glad to have you!

How very cool! My hubby and I want the kids to be exposed to other languages, but unfortunately our Spanish is very poor--I can pick out words every so often, but I'm too embarrassed to try speaking.

Julie, you alread have late seating w/ a majority of us. I hope you would consider sliding over to the DIS side of the table. I have a DD who also will be turning 4 while on the cruise. They'll probably be in the same Oceaneer group-fingers crossed you'll consider dining with us. I'm going to hold my breath until you say yes.....:faint: I tried! :)

You are officially are on the list. See page 78.

Hi Dawn(Black Unicorn),
I noticed that you have a 12 yr old son. Will he be 12 on the cruise? The reason I ask is that I have a 12 yr old son and perhaps we could introduce the two of the at the dis meet. This is our second cruise and last Sept. my son had a great time in the Oceanears(?) Lab. He complained that he didn't get to spend enough time there. It was so much fun!!

Hi! LOL Yes, my son will turn 12 this summer. I'm sure he'd love to know someone else on the cruise! He's very independent, I don't think he's going to want to spend any time with us. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Vicki--we got to see Phantom when it came through here in November, and we got to take our kids. They loved it! Even though I made them get all dressed up. :rolleyes1 If they still fit their dress-up clothes this fall, I'll probably make them wear them to the dress-up dinner.

Speaking of which, how fancy is everyone getting for that? Are we talking evening clothes here? For me, wearing a skirt and shaving my legs is dressed up. Thoughts, anyone? :hippie:

Hi Dawn
On the first night of our cruise we had Tritons which we were told was very formal. I wore a sleeveless black dress (very nice and cruisy) I made my husband wear jacket and tie and my son a shirt and tie. Well we felt over dressed and so did our fellow diners when we got there Chris had his tie stuffed in his pocket and my husband imediately took off his jacket. I am assuming since this was the first night of the cruise that people were less formal. On pirate night I wore Capris and a nice blouse. Mostly women wear a nice dress or a skirt and blouse. Men a dress shirt and tie seem to go well just keep in mind that Parrot Cay is less formal. If you can get this for pirate night your laughing.

hI ALL. We also had tritons for our first night also. I had told everyone in our party that this was the fancier rest. so we were all pretty dressed up. My fil was with us and commented on how over dressed he felt in a jcket and tie.(Not too hard to do when the guy at the next table had a ripped no sleeved yankee tshirt, shorts and flip flops :crazy2: ) Anyhoo what I hadn't realized was that dress up night is the 2nd night regardless to what rest. you eat in that night. I never really saw anyone in evening dresses or tuxes, but then again except for the ripped tshirt guy I was just concentrating on my own family and having a "wonderful" time :drinking1

Suzanne :cool1:

Just thought it might be interesting to see who all is dressing up for pirate night..
Michael and I have the fabric and now I've gotta find the time to learn to sew them...
