DH and i went to Cheeseburger in Paradise tonight for dinner. All I could think about were all my Buffett DCL fans who couldn't dine with us.
Awwwww......![]()
When we went to Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago with some friends, we went on the people mover and I thought of you guys!
Awww, I wish we could've been with you again on the people mover.I'm sure you had a great time

So, how are things in FLA? ??????
My brother will be joining you Floridians April 4th!
I know I have not been on in quite a while but I had to share, because none of my non-disney people really understand the magnitude of what happened. We were visiting DD, SS-I-L, and precious grand daughter and went to (dare I say it) Disney land - (you may remember son in law is in Navy Seal training in Coronado) To make a long story longer we got Dream Fast Passes for both Disney Land and California adventure at Turtle Talk with Crush. Sooo excited. Just wanted to share. Hope everyone is doing well. We will be cruising the end of april on a three day cruise with my mother then doing a week at WDW.

Maleficent's DH writing here... Hmmm, "soo excited" does not really capture the moment. I would say that Maleficent had a "near seizure", where everyone in the lobby ABSOLUTELY KNEW about how excited DW really was!! I, for one, was very glad to realize (gradually) that this was a "magical moment" and not a heart attack. I suppose the medics get called every week or so to respond to Disneyphiles who get an overdose of magic.
Those fast pass cards are great (shoot, they have THREE patents)! If you wear them (yes, DW kept hers prominently displayed), you get asked frequently how to obtain them by other guests. Then, you get to explain (and relive) the magic. I would not be surprised if we wear our (expired) passes next month at WDW. Maybe even on the cruise ship too!
BTW, even though the pass is stamped with a "good on this date only" warning, it still was accepted two days later.
PS. Disney Land is great! It reminded me of a small, pretend, miniature WDW; sort of the rough draft or mockup of the REAL thing. Even the ride vehicles are smaller (those skinny Californians!) like on Grizzly River. You can still see the "original" way Disney was setup like the Tiki room before Iago. I actually found that I liked Pirates and Buzz Lightyear better at DL than WDW. It is fun to simply compare the two as well (e.g. DL has outdoor teacups and small world boat entry is also outdoors).

My brother is a Floridian, now!
Take care of him y'all.
(I will probably be joining him via the WDW College Program for Spring 08!)
