Patsy, how are you feeling? I hope you are recovering well.

I'm doing better than I thought I'd be doing.

I think I'm doing alright on the recovery path.. I still have a lot of blood and I don't remember him telling me that'd happen..?? But other than that I think I'm getting along SWELL!

swell x 2? :rotfl2: sorry, I just couldn't help myself

I watched the "LOST DISC" from Curse of the Black Pearl. I liked it. It contains: Becoming Captain Jack, Becoming Barbossa, Thar She Blows (they show you how they blow up a replica of the Interceptor), The Monkey's Name is Jack, Fly on the Set Featurettes (lots of little out takes), Pirates Around the World (they show you clips of the movie in various different languages :lmao: ), Dead Men Tell No Tales & Sneak Attack Animatronic - stuff about the POTC ride.

Even though we had to buy another Curse of the Black Pearl DVD to get this "Lost" disc, I think it's worth it. Then again, I'm a huge fan :lmao:

I've never had any before but oh man this stuff is amazing!

Why yes, yes it is. We go there every year for my birthday now. I love love LOVE the chicken piccata!! And almost all of their cheesecakes are amazing! I'm trying to think of my favorite but I don't know!:rotfl: I really liked their chocolate raspberry truffle but one time we got it as a take-out and it had this funny after taste.:confused3 So I've been a little nervous about having it again...

Oh hey.. Erica, I think?.. was it you that was looking at the scrapping threads? I think it'd be really neat to get in on one of those scrap swaps but I'm not very creative :( Have you found anything neat over there, though?

It was me! Actually they have some really cool stuff....seems most of the DISers are into digital scrapping but I am more of a back-to-basics kinda gal. Paper, ink, a printer, photos and maybe a few embellishments or stickers here and there. Honestly you don't really have to be that creative to do it, just know what styles you like or look at some layout ideas and you will make your own style. I like very simple, elegant layouts.

I haven't done a swap or anything yet, but I have gone to a scrapbook convention and spent LOTS of money :rolleyes1
I was thinking about taking some photos of my layouts anyhow just to have on the computer, so if I get around to doing that this weekend I'll upoad a few here.

Hey Lisa :)

So, all you croc fanatics.. Have you heard anything about their new shoe, prima? It's like a ballet flat and I think it looks pretty nifty.. ( I need to stop shopping online..)

It looks kinda cute! I got the Disney ones for work and everyone loves them. They are SUPER comfy. One of the other therapists got the Mary Jane style and she loves them. I'm tempted by the flip flops.

I am currently printing the last of what I need to finish the first portion of my scrapbook! :dance3:

And I guess I will start on the second portion this weekend.....back to the drawing board. :rolleyes1

A scrapbook convention? Oh man, I would LOVE that. I'd prolly spend lots of $$ too!

I got a ton of stuff to sit down and work on while I was down from the surgery but I still can't stretch/reach yet sooo.. who knows. It usually takes me FOREVER to get a page done, though.. I'm so picky. I get really into it.. which paper? which picture? which angle, which embellishment?!.. and then I look at the clock and see one page took me like an hour..

That is TOTALLY me.

So far in my scrapbooking I've only done three pages.. one for the prom I went to in 10th grade and one page each of the two I went to in 11th grade... I like them though.. so I guess thats a good thing!
