I am not sure if anyone here is flying Southwest airlines or not. But I cancelled and rebooked my flights today after learning of sale on their website. After all was said and done I am on the same flights and I now have a $204 credit from SW to use on future travel. (The credits expire in April and May of next year.)

I think ::MickeyMo is calling my name for a future trip!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: :woohoo:

Thats great! Good job keeping your eye out. I was on the cruise line website today and it looks like the ship is getting filled up some more. Maybe more will join us. I need to go clean instead of staying on these boards.

The sad part is that we had been planning to start a family at the end of this year or beginning of next, which would put a bit of a damper on those plans......I would either cruising pregnant, or with an infant. That's not the sad part. The sad part is, I almost asked my husband if we should wait another year! :rotfl2:

That's how I know I am a Dis cruise addict.

I vote for cruising pregnant. I did last time. With all the planning weare having to do to bring a tooddler and some of the sacrifices I know we'll have to make it has been difficult. Cruising pregnant means I only had to worry about myself. And yes if you tell the servers they spoil you immensly - more treats and food than you can imagine.

Lisa,

Do you take your luggage or will Disney still transport it for you?
We'll take our own luggage. The other family that we are cruising with will be on a Land/Sea package. They fly in the week prior for the "land" portion of their trip. They are eligible to take the Disney transportation but are opting to go with us instead. This will enable us to all travel together (so we can get our party started earlier :thumbsup2 ) and get to port earlier than the Disney bus. (We are renting a van one way and driving to WDW. We'll return the van in Orlando, spend a couple of days at WDW and then we'll take Happy Limo from WDW to port.) For our return trip, we'll rent a van at port and drive directly home. Our friends will most likely use Magical Express to get them back to the airport where they'll fly back to MA.

I believe Mousesavers dot com has a discount coupon for Happy Limo.

Where will you be staying at WDW? We have one of the All Star Family Suites booked, our friends will be at AKL.

I do love being spoiled :)
Thanks for the input......I think I vote for cruising pregnant as well. It will be my last moment of truly being papmered and not feeling guilty. Heh.

We are staying at POR for 5 days before the cruise. We are also on a land and sea package but I would like to get to the port early. Thanks for all the info.
Glad to help, let me know if you need any other info. :thumbsup2 We love POR, I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Jan, how've you been??? :listen:
Doing fine--thanks for asking. I slammed two fingers in my own van door a couple weeks ago--luckily nothing broken although there should have been. I had a numb area on the end of my left index finger that made typing HARD the first day, but now it is pins and needles so if it stays like this I will be fine, I hardly notice it.

I have made several door decorations. I use the cut, paste, cover with clear contact paper method and stick on magnet strips from the craft store of from advertisers. The latest is the picture of Jack, Elizabeth and Will cut from the McDonald's placemat. Some are decorating the inside of my front door here at my condo. GETTING IN THE MOOD!! pirate:

DH discovered tonight that Flying Dutchman is at CC. He was reading ALL EARS tonight. When we find that our kids have seen the movie, I think I will break down and tell them it will be there. Send them a picture of two that I have copied off the DIS.

TAE JA, how about coffee?

I'm pretty sure that there was a retractable clothes line in the bathroom.

YUP--THERE ARE RETRACTABLE CLOTHES LINES IN THE TUB. IF YOU RUN OUT OF CLOTHESPINS OR CLIPS, YOU CAN RUN THE CORD THROUGH THE SWIM SUIT ITSELF AND THEN HOOK IT INTO THE OTHER HOLDER.

Yes, I know what you mean about the internet thing. My philosophy is Live and Let Live. I try not to debate things too much it never gets you anywhere People are always going to have different opinions. Is anyone who is going on the cruise from the resorts going to use different transportation instead of the buses? If so what company are you using. I am thinking about it.

We're using Precision Transportation. They quoted us the same price as Happy Limo, PLUS they were willing to drop us off and pick us up at Kennedy Space Center after the cruise. I don't know much about them--I heard about them from one person on the DIS, and I haven't seen anyone else mention them. Most people recommend either Happy Limo or Tiffany Towncar.

Michael and I don't really want to take the buses.. but we don't really have an option. For just the two of us, it's about the most economical choice. Oh well.

Jan, I hope your fingers get to feeling normal soon. *ouch!*

Bill? Oh, Bill? Where are you? :confused3

I was out for "girls night" last night and we were watching the tv's over the bar. They had some storm activity up on the screen. I couldn't hear anything so was hoping you could tell us if anything was going on?

Things have been very calm, although rainy. On one hand I am glad, but worried on another. I do not wish any bad weather on anyone, but the longer we go without a storm, the more likely it could be active when we are there :confused3 ...It's simple probability.

I had to check for myself (since Bill has been so quiet). Here's a link I found of the East coast. Is that a hurricane swirl on the bottom right in the 60 square? http://www.goes.noaa.gov/browsh2.html

Same here. I imagine that hurts!

:cool1: Nope--no pain. I am blessed! :cloud9:
You know when you have a bandaid on too tight and the finger feels pins and needles? That is all I have. No pain. If I bump the place where the cut was and where I think the nerve was damaged, it makes a jangle down to the fingertip, but that is it. I almost don't notice at all.

I had surgery on my knee after a fall because my body did not clean up the deep bruising and it could have gotten infected. Needed a skin graft too. The graft is a wonderful scar, I think I told you all that. The whole area has damaged sensation from the injury, not from the surgery, so it feels like pins and needles some of the time too. I am getting used to this.

It could have been SO MUCH WORSE--both times. I think the word KLUTZ was invented for ME :teeth:

No biggie :thumbsup2
