blah, i'm going to sleep. i want my jaw to stop hurting. my cheek finally stopped hurting. i spent 3 hours at the dentist this morning for a cleaning and for them to look at my broken tooth and prep it for my crown that i have to go back for in 2 1/2 weeks *sigh* novacaine finally wore off at about 230 this after. it was a great day. cheek hurt most of the afternoon. and my jaw it sore from being open for so long. eating is not fun right now. have a great night everyone!

hehe glad you like it! no problem. i just finished the playlist for the post cruise cd if you'd like one of those. i'm sending one to lisa, vicki and taeja... anyone else interested? most of the songs were played at one point or another during the cruise. either during a deck party, at one of the 'adult' parties or on castaway cay

I want one! :teeth: Been listening to your other CD in the car on the way to work in the mornings, it makes me feel all tropical.

I'm going to turn in too Heidi. 6:30 comes much too quickly. Have a great night.

Suzanne

Ps I 'm just jealous cause I've been able to drink legally for soooooo long. ;)

Hey Erica
Your trip report is simply brilliant. You are avery talented author with a unique writing style. It is so enjoyable to read and you don't want it to end, just like the cruise :thumbsup2

Sorry you're feeling crappy! I was wondering how your visit to the dentist went. I am totally dentist-phobic!

Heidi, I didn't have your email address so I emailed Holly and explained the nightshirt issue to her to ask your parents. I feel like such a bonehead doing this but I don't know what else to do.

Well, the nice part is that you'd be able to come and go (and eat and drink) as you please. If a situation turned less than perfect, you could excuse yourself and look for one of us. :grouphug:

Ohhhh man you're right. At first I thought it was a pretty awesome idea when they mentioned doing it as a family (I keep trying to get close to them, they ARE my parents.. but so far I have always failed)...then I realized how akward I would probably feel, but if I did it with you guys it would be easy to just excuse myself and party on down (Since I could totally and completely partake in all the fun!) :rotfl:
I think they'd mostly keep to themselves anyway, so it wouldn't be a major deal. Just weird.. They've pretty much been without their parental duties since I got a car. I remember my mom's sisters calling me around my 17th birthday and telling me how upset my mom was that I started doing everything myself. The only time we were really together in my teenage years was I went to one of my various Doctors appointments. At that point, though, I'd even started to make my own appointments and took myself, paid the copay and made sure the receipt got to the insurance company to come outta my dad's healthcare reimbursement. I saw it as relieving her, but she got upset! I ended up asking her to come with me to my surgeon appointment in Kentucky and we had a pretty cool little two days, so who knows what a Disney cruise would do!

((sorry that I just spouted off a lot of pointless family junk  ))

I have no excuse, I couldn't find my list of staterooms and almost choked when it found itself on my door. Now, of course, I found the list :rotfl2:

You know, the good thing is that you'll see things differently as an adult than you did as a kid. Take the good, and if it starts to turn bad, get out of the situation and realize that there is nothing you can do to change them. I think you've got a great head on your shoulders and a great attitude! That's all it takes to be happy. You don't need to let anyone drag you down. Maybe a Disney cruise will be the right thing to help you guys get closer. If it doesn't work, at least you know you tried. :grouphug:
