Wow, finally.. a spare minute. Other than my online classes I am completely free until Wednesday at 4PM when I work...

Time to get busy and start packing!

Soo.. I, stupidly, didn't purchase Vacation Insurance. Any idea what happens if somehow Orlando grounds flights because of Ernesto? I've never paid attention before but has this ever happened before?
I guess I've made the drive before and I can do it again but I most definitely do not want to do that..

You can still buy it right now!
All the way up 'til before you board the ship I've heard.

That's what I was trying to find out if they made was a children's version of Bonine. I don't know how Emily will do. She was in my tummy the last time we were on a boat in the sea. :confused3 . The ship has stuff also. Don't they? I heard they put it outside the doctor's door so you can just take it.

I've heard that too.

well i believe it's time for me to go to sleep... have a great night everyone!

Yes they do have seasickness medication on board, my aunt had to get it. I don't know if you can just take it or not, but I do know they also have the wrist band things for seasickness that you put over your...um pulse in your wrist. *shudders* That just gives me the heebie jeebies! I can't take my own pulse...I can't touch my wrist there like that...

My MIL called today. She just heard about Ernesto. She ended up talking to my DH, but when she called me, I couldn't answer the phone. My phone started ringing in my purse and then I picked it up as quick as I could. I tried taking off the battery, but instead....SAT ON MY PHONE TO MUTE THE RING! I didn't know what else to do. My kids were like, Mom your phone is ringing and I kept whispering back I can't answer it right now....W/ the evil stare.

night Holly! :wave2:

The Weather Channel just said something about the cruiseline ports shutting down 24 hours before hurricane force winds are expected. They are presently referring to the ports in Miami but it's something we should keep in mind.

I've always heard that kids have less of a problem than we do. My kids go on all kinds of rides and spin around... if I rode one of those I'd feel like I was dying. I still wish I had the meds with me, just in case.

Here's the link to that Bonine for kids: http://www.drugstore.com/user/promo...p3=/user/promo.asp?code=53E701AB&atrxp4=71583

ETA: If that link doesn't work, try searching BONINE at drugstore.com, the third one down is the children's.

I am going to be so bummed if something happens.
I don't have the money to purchase vacation insurance. I won't get my financial aid check for another two days and it's the only 'play' money I have at the moment (Though I'm sure the bank would be rather upset to hear me say that.. haha)

I didn't realize how close we are. I'm mega-stressed and my French Professor just e-mailed me about my honors project. Apparently I missed a deadline to submit my intentions.. I just had my first class on Thursday! I haven't even read through the paperwork yet :( Whoops.

The college was buzzing with news tonight. Anyone remember Jessica Lynch, the "American Hero"?

Lisa, how are the gas prices down there? We're sitting at $2.62 average at the Marathon.

Is she at your college? The travel insurance was close to $20.00 for a bunch of $$$$ for medical treatment/insurance. Bum your friends for $$$.

Well, she lives about twenty minutes from me. I've seen her around the mall, taken her order at BK before.

She went to Morgantown (Main campus of WVU ((which gave her a full scholarship)) is in Morgantown) she is now pregnant though and engaged again so she transferred to the Parkersburg Campus because it's closer to her house..

Oh wow.

O.k. all here's a link from the Cruise forum about Flordia closes the ports of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale to ALL inbound ships. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1209494

What ever you do, don't freak out. It will all work out even if we have to stay onboard a couple extra days due to weather conditions....I wish.

O.k., I can live with that.

I just have to say that the Weather channel plays some pretty cheesy music while showing sattalite images. blech :p

Haha, okay.. my school is SMALL. I think we've got 2500 students? It's a tiny, tiny branch of WVU but gosh is it cheap in comparison.. It's one building, three stories.

I just don't get why everyone is flipping out because she now goes to school there.. Good lord, any of us that go there probably live around here which means we've been living next to her all along sooo to me, that is much more note-worthy... Maybe I should have tried to sell her receipt on EBay, she always pays with a debit card ;) :rotfl:
