My parents took a weekend and disappeared this weekend. My brother went back to WVU to go to the game.. and I've got a three-day weekend, completely ALONE?!

I'm going to start selling some more stuff here soon.
Wonder if anyone wants a HUGE bag of 200+ BK toys I stole from BK over the course of working there.. Most of them aren't even in a package. Just toys I picked up and carried home with me!

No need to I have friends who are so happy they did this!! I have always wondered if having it done when someone is young will make a difference in the ability to nurse a baby though. It was very important to me to be able to do that so I would have been nervous. Is that something you learned about ?

On the one hand, you could post the Kid's Meal toys in clumps by theme. People collect all sorts of stuff and if someone missed one toy they might by the whole set to get it. On the other hand, you might do better listing them individually. If you list, let us know how it goes. This is such a great way to clean out your stuff!! You are helping people add to their collections while you add money to your cruise fund!

I probably won't be able to nurse. I'm going from DDD(+) to a C. He said it's incredibly unlikely, but might still be possible. I've talked about it all with him.
I'm not sure if I'm going to bother relisting things. I sorta just want to clean now and relist stuff once then pitch it or give it to Goodwill.

I spent the night/day with the remaining two of my mom's sisters (the one only came to town from SC so that her adopted son could meet his real mother-- It was a little weird.)
A lot of stuff came out that explains a lot of why my parents are so weird reguarding me.

..and also.. this is Disney-relevant. I have an Aunt Susie that lived in SC. She's been a Disney nut her entire life!
She took all my cousins to WDW and never took me. I remember asking my mom when I was little why she never took me and she said it was because all my cousins had less money than we did. It always made me angry at my Aunt, because I'd always wanted to go. And my parents never had the money to take me.

Found out tonight that she tried.. many times. And my mom always told her no.
And I'm sorry.. but I'm really, really mad now. Really, really mad. She screwed with my DISNEY WORLD TIME!!!
..but in other good news..
they gave me their monopoly pieces and I entered the rest of them tonight and won 1225 pictures from Snapfish total!! I think thats spiffy.

As long as you have discussed all the pros and cons with the surgeon and are OK with it, then you are doing the right thing. I hope your recovery goes well. When are you going to have it done again?

I sure understand about getting rid of stuff. Did you list all the kid toys on e-bay as a clump? When I sold my Disney Catalogs I finally contacted the guy who had bought most of them and told him I was tired of listing, packing, shipping, etc and if he wanted the remaining catalogs sight-unseen for just the cost of the postage to ship them, then he could have them, list them himself or whatever. I just wanted them GONE!

Sorry to hear about your Disney Aunt and that your folks did not let you go with her. Is she still alive?

I cannot get over how many pictures you have won with McDonald's Monopoly pieces. I win nothing or special ring tones for my phone which is too old to accept them I bet and I don't want to replace the tone I created of the Disney Ships' horn!!

Jan, I thought I saved a thread subscription about putting the DCL horn as your new e-mail alert....I don't have it. I have threads about DCL horn and cell phones. Try doing a disboard search dcl and e-mail search.

Yes! I realize it's pretty lame to be upset but seeing how much I love Disney now, I think I really really could have used that as a kid. I always thought my Aunts stayed away because my mom was sick and they didnt want to deal but they said they tried-- and my dad and mom wouldn't let them near us. Thinking about it, they're right. I remember them randomly showing up once and my dad was so angry.
It's just really upsetting because my mom was sick and I didn't have much of a childhood.. and I think it's pretty crappy she wouldn't let her kids go to Disney World!

Oh well.

Jan, yes. She's still alive. Mom's little sister died but the Disney World freak is still out there.

Nah, not good because we can't START trying until it finally happens! The doc said it might take up to 6 months.....*sigh*

If you are ever want low down information on being pregnant, get the book entitled, The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy. I can't remember the author, but its the funniest book. You'll cry too. I heard about the book years ago when it first came out and she was talking from real experience. So, when you are ready, put that book on your to purchase list.

I gotta run and see if the kiddos are really asleep.
