I totally agree Suzanne! I love Grey's! Desperate Housewives is good but I think Grey's is GREAT! It's really my favorite show on TV!

Has anybody gotten any info about when 08 dates are going to come out?
I have no idea. Rumors are flying that the dates could be announced any day, or it may not be until March. :confused3

EEEE!
I just found out last night that a close friend is also pregnant, 7 weeks! I squealed and said YAY, I'm going to have pregnant friends to talk to! When it happens, that is. *glares at uterus* Would ya clear out so we can get started, already? sheesh! :lmao:
:rotfl2: You are even funny when you are not pleased with how things are going!

Oh, and to those who are asking what Orson said at the morgue in Desperate Housewives on Sunday: "I miss you, Monique"
I got that from the recap on Television Without Pity. I LOVE that site.
Gross--if he misses her but he killed her, what kind of a wierdo is he???
Jan :earsgirl:

Hmm. I don't watch either of those shows but I think I could get into Grey's Anatomy. Which is why I stay away, ahahah..

I'm a Gilmore Girls/One Tree Hill addict though. Both teeny bopper shows.

I got confirmation from HR today that I am a salaried employee eligible for all benefits-- including pre-payment of my spring tuition!

....So...who's Monique? That wasn't his wife's name, was it? :confused3
That's just it--we don't know yet who Monique was--but not the wife the neighbor told Bree about. Maybe he had other wives. So, sounds like good old Orsen killed at least two ladies. Can you say "SERIAL KILLER" ???

One Tree Hill is filmed here in Wilmington. In fact, one time last year they even filmed an episode on campus! I searched the entire campus that day looking for Chad Michael Murray to take a picture for Hayley. :rotfl: But alas, I never found him. If you go down to the studio you can sign up to be an extra. If I had a car I totally would! :rotfl:

Jan :earsgirl:

Remember the lady he visited last season in the looney bin where Bree had checked herself in? Was THAT his wife? I wonder why they never really mentioned her. I think I remember he called her "a friend."

And the one thing I simply do not understand about this season is all of the loose ends that are never even mentioned.....like Bree's kids? And Susan's house? And the whole Edie/Susan thing? Looks like Bree's stinky son is in next week's episode, so maybe we will learn more then. :confused3

Sweet!
And paid vacations, I hope :goodvibes that is the BEST part about having a "real job" - the perks!

That's right! I kind of remember him with a woman in the looney bin! I don't think that was his wife, maybe that was Monique? I saw a preview of the next epsiode where Andrew returns. Interesting.....

I'm not a HUGE Swarovski person (though I love the jewelry) but are these not the coolest???

Disney Swarovski
Very cool!

They ARE cute.

And I do get paid vacations, but I only get paid for the hours I'm guaranteed each week- 20. Which is a lot better than not working at all! I don't earn any vacation time this year but I think I might just ask next year if they'll pay me for the hours and let me work a couple days or so too. I figure there is a beter way to phrase it but I'm not that with it right now.

We must have missed the "Bree in the loony bin" episode--I don't remember that and Orson seemed like a new character to us this year. What happened to Susan's husband who was sleeping with Edie?

I think they like loose ends so they can pull in characters at strange times.

We are only supposed to be getting a glimpse of the lives of these people, just like neighbors in your building or on your block. You only know a little about their lives, not all the details.

:confused3 Oh well--it's a theory anyway..... :confused3

Thanks for all the good advice and encouragement in August when I was investigating Alzheimer's communities for my Mother. She has been on the wait-list for a WONDERFUL place here in Indy, less than 15 miles from my condo.

A room opened up on Tuesday and I called my brother to let him know. While he admitted that she was ready for full time care, he was not happy having her this far away from him. Since this is such a major life change we feel that we three kids should all be in agreement with the plan and he was not in agreement when it came down to the wire. I don't think he realized that about himself until it was imminent. So, we have agreed to place her at the Community where she has stayed for respite and has developed a bond with another resident there. She will be rooming with that same lady now.

She will stay on the wait list here. We can refuse rooms as long as we want with no penalty as long as we keep that deposit there and it is refundable if we want her off the list.

While I was looking forward to having more time with her, I am totally OK with this decision as it is what I thought we would do in the first place.

I'm glad to hear that you've found a place that you're all comfortable with, Jan. Best wishes to you and your family. :grouphug:

Actually, that makes perfect sense.....never thought of it that way. I TOTALLY forgot about Carl! Oh, Carl. Sleezeball extraordinnaire. And Bree checked herself in shortly after she dropped Andrew off in the middle of nowhere and told him not to come home.

PS - great news about your Mom!

I am so glad that you have all come to an agreement that you can all live with. It must be such a difficult thing to go through :grouphug: And as you well know everything happens for a reason and I am sure this is no exception. Good luck to all of you and I am so glad that you have us to "talk" to.

Suzanne
