Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 3

Mmmm...I LOVE crunch bars! Have you ever tried the dark chocolate ones?? They were a limited edition and they don't sell them anymore! Someone should tell them to put them back out on the market! I have my fingers crossed because they had special dark chocolate M&M's during the Star Wars III showings in the theater and they've brought them back so maybe the crunch will make it back too!

Hey didn't they have limited edition dark chocolate reeses at one point? I'm so sad...I never got to try them!

If you can tell already...dark chocolate is my favorite!

I try to stay away from candy bars. I don't buy them because they're EXPENSIVE anymore.. three candybars that I dont need and that will only prove to make me fatter = the same price as a tank of gas.
I'm a little OCD in my thoughts and anything I buy gets this lecture in my head pre-purchase.. I think to myself "How many hours did I have to sell onion rings to people to make enough to buy this?"...

Haha, I started in 8th grade. I had two appliances in my mouth, too.. one pushed my teeth apart and the other pushed some of them back? Then I got the braces and wore them about 13 months.. maybe it was because I only ate what I was supposed to?
But nah, in all reality.. I chewed gum and all that but I HATED what a pain it was when popcorn kernels got stuck so I stopped bothering. I'd of never given up something like gum, though!

Haha I get you. I ate popcorn (I'm not the biggest fan of it over all though...I'll eat it at the movies from time to time and usually the only kind I eat at home is the pour over butter kind) but I never ate apples that were whole. That was me obeying the rules...I sliced the apples and never ate them whole. It was what I was looking forward to when I got them off...eating an apple whole! I kept saying I sound like Captain Barbosa!

Am I totally the same way about money! Minus the onion ring part... But I feel SO guilty spending it that I hardly ever do! Except this summer I did get better and I did spend quite a bit. If you ever see me thinking too hard about buying something on the cruise, now you know why!

Sorry it took so long to get back, I was on the phone with Alex..

I'll probably pick it up.. look at the price tag.. put it down.. go back a couple hours later.. and repeat this throughout the entire cruise..

That would be soooo mean! Michael really needs this trip. I can see him breaking down and crying he'll be so happy.
His dad up and left him a couple of weeks ago and moved to New Hampshire with the mother-in-law of his sister that died in June. Left Michael with no mention of it and just came back to tell him he was moving and then left again. Left Michael with alll the bills. He went from having $1300+ for the cruise to whatever is left of the paycheck we got today. He got paid $600 and I ran off with $400 of it and I'm thinking I won't let him have it back until the cruise. I don't think he should be using his money to pay his dads bills. He doesn't know if he can go to college now, when we get back, because of $$. He's really stressed out. He needs this. A lot.

Besides, Alex has HIGH SCHOOL classes to go to..

Yeah, I've felt really bad for him lately.
I took his money and he let me.. and I've still got it. I think he knows if I've got it, it goes towards him having money on vacation.

I was going to try to celebrate him with the Bon Voyage room dectorations thing but I don't know how close to sailing you can book it?..

*sigh* Y'all are a bunch of dirty minded people. I guess I'm the one who asked him if he was going to call the police, though.. but it's not illegal to hang out!!

I learned a lot about him last night.
It was pretty nifty to just sit and talk to someone like that.. I haven't in a long, long time.

I can't even imagine how tall he'll be (or how big his, uh, feet will get) as he continues to get older...guys stop growing at 21 or something, right? He's still got 5 more years!

It's okay Patsy...not every guy grows the same. My uncle didn't start his major growth until he was 18! Your Alex could have already done the major growing and only have an inch more. Only time will tell!
