Yes, she is so talented! (Although I become impressed easily because I don't have a creative bone in my body!) Cass is just very entertaining - I'd love to have her and her husband over for dinner.

I'm starting tomorrow early. I'm doing all the laundry now so I can start picking out the kids outfits. Hopefully I'll have all their clothes together by tomrrow night. (I wish I were like Bill's wife pretty much ready to go. *sigh*)

Amanda wants to start packing now so I'm off tomorrow. I'll wash her clothes and start then!

Just think in 2 weeks we'll be in Nassau!

Okay, my mom is officilaly starting to panic at the thought of the impending storm. It doesn't matter that it's nowhere near us and they're just waching it. "What if we can't get to port, what if this, what if that?" I told her that's why we have insurance, and if it happens, I guess we'll find out. Not much I can say at this point, we have to go with the flow and be flexible. Our newscasters here tend to panic, which sets her off. Should be a fun two weeks if this storm doesn't fizzle out or move in a different direction.

Speaking of jobs I put in a long time ago to take the test to be a postal carrier. Actually to be a substitute. The paper work came in the mail yesterday and I was so nervous that the testing was going to be while we were gone but it is September 10.

Don't be too hard on your mom . Everyone including myself has the same thoughts. Just tell your Mom a LOT of things still have to occur for this to affect us...One of the issues with September travel are hurricanes. It is possible that some of us MAY have to shift our arrival plans, which is why information is so important (and few prayers thrown in for good measure). It does not hurt to develop some type contingency plan in the event it does develop, so you have some sort of idea, and you can implement the plan if and when necessary. Talking about it also lessen's the anxiety in most cases,so it may not be a bad idea to discuss some alternative arrangementswith your families.
The NHC has a saying..be prepared...not scared. Over the next few days we should have an idea what is going on with this storm and will have a clearer picture if anything is occuring.
So far, we are right on track as far as the number of storms for the year, it just seems like less beacuse last year was so active.
