Woohooo! The TSA website says that solid lipstick is allowed! That *should* mean that stick sunblock will pass. I'll put it in the carryon in an easily accessible place and hope. What a fuss I'm making over such a little thing! I guess I'm worried about sunburns on the very first day of vacation.

I'm also going to whine about taking my shoes off to go through security...that's going to be such a pain for me. If I'm going to be on my feet for any amount of time, I need to wear my walking shoes or I'll be in pain. Waaah! What a PITA it's going to be to take those off and put them on again.

I can't even tell you how many pairs of flip flops I own...but I do know that Teia has 3 times as many! They don't allow the elementary school kids to wear them in school but the middle & high school kids can. I'd like to change THAT rule! I can understand no flips on P.E. days but they don't have P.E. everyday. I think they should change that rule. I'll have to work on that. She's only in first grade...

This is probably because elementary school kids still play on play equipment. My son loved to wear cowboy boots to preschool, until the teachers asked me to stop sending him in them because he kept slipping off the equipment.

After showing him a picture of me that someone took and doctored a bit.... he asked me who it was...

Sooo.. apparently after three years he does not recognize me.. so if I'm standing next to him and he asks you where I am... please point the other direction...

ooooo i love storms! looks like we might get some tomorrow. it's another really nice day here today. but tomorrow it's going to get humid again. we have the windows and doors open again today. but tomorrow the air will most likely go back on.

i want to go shopping but i'm poor LOL. which is why i stayed home while the rest of my family went to the mall and best buy. the mall i'd be safe as long as i stay away from hollister. but best buy i don't know if i could stop myself from buying anything.

Dawn, thank you so much for suggesting Hot Topic! I didn't find the billowy pirate/poet shirt, but I did find one of those corset type shirts that are piratey/wenchy. So I won't need a waistcoat anymore. Thanks so much!
