Hey, I'm checking back in again . . .

Thanks for the Ramsey update - I haven't seen a TV in weeks.

Hope everyone's children are doing better - we only have 2 1/2 weeks !!!!

And now that everyone's gone to bed . . .
I have a question:

Are you taking any good jewelry - like your diamond engagement ring? Or are you just wearing a wedding band?

There's a safe in the closet you can use. A laptop won't fit, but things like cameras, memory cards, stuff that size will fit. Now if you have ring whose karets are larger than 20 its doubtful.

Darn! I'll have to leave my diamond ring home! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Lisa, you are not alone. My kids school is strict sounds like it echos yours as well. We won't be going home for Christmas b/c we sucked up all our unexcused absenses so we're going to WDW for the holidays instead. *snap* darn! :thumbsup2

My mom is already having an attack because Conor's sick. (Then again, my mom has an attack over EVERYTHING! :hyper: ) :rotfl:

That's what makes college so much easier...you could take *off* and nobody cares! :rotfl: The only person it affects is you.

I'm taking off. Everyone have a great night. :wave2:

I wish I could say I do...I never skip! Okay okay...I never skip on my own. :rotfl: My one friend and I would skip our biology classes both semesters to go get breakfast instead at least 5 times each semester! :rotfl: But it's okay...I got A's in both classes. :teeth:

Goodnight Lisa. :wave2:

Thanks. :teeth: But they weren't exactly hard classes because the one first semester was exactly the same as my AP bio class in high school (Advanced Placement), so I already knew most of the stuff...except my professor's tests were hard...he worded the questions weird so you couldn't understand what some of them were asking. And the one second semester was genetics and I LOVE genetics. :goodvibes I've always been good at genetics and it just makes sense to me.

Wow, 7-2?
We went from 7:46-3:21 (They're retarded and kept adding like 3 minutes at a time)
They might be longer now. My high school, at one point, had the longest isntructional day of any school in WV. I was just thrilled to find that out.

It made it impossible, though, to avoid Dr.s appointments..

That's brutal! Ours went from 7:25 til 2:09. It was 2:10 my freshman year...but they changed it to 2:08 my sophomore year (don't ask why cause I don't know) and due to adding extra time in the halls between classes (because they kept taking time away each year) they added an extra minute at the end of the day to make it 2:09.
Times in between classes started out as 10, my sophomore year it went to 8, my junior year it went to 6 (which I thought was absolutely outrageous but apparently some places only have 5) and due to the fact that everyone was getting to class late, they made it 7 after a month or so.

Well, so far, I've loved being able to call up and reserve a vacation without having to stress about money. Even if I can't afford anything else, I can stay at a hotel and relax. Of course, I'm thrilled to be staying in a *suite* after the cruise, we'll have our own room for the first time EVER on a vacation with the kids. I can take or leave the kitchen but I'm thrilled that we'll be able to do laundry in the room. That means that we can put a load in and walk away--no time wasted sitting by a washing machine! We can start a load before bed, throw it in the dryer in the morning, and fold it when we get back from the parks. We can use points at non-Disney destinations, which I'm sure we'll do someday :sad2: but it does take a *lot* of points. I really like that we now feel like we could do any vacation we want. Before the DVC membership, we felt like we could only afford to do certain vacations. Now we feel like we could even go to Europe! (Hubby says Disney Paris in two years :rotfl: )

We would normally have gone to WDW and stayed in the Value resorts, so we definitely took a step up when we bought DVC. The down side to DVC is that you don't get to take advantage of package deals--like the free dining that's going on now. But you find ways to get other deals--a lot of DVC members have annual passes and they get discounts from that. Disney Visa also gives discounts on certain things. I can go on and on  sorry!

DO!! :listen:

Here's a topic to help you bond with your dad.... my bad...
.
Haha.. not exactly.
That would be so incredibly akward... *shudders*
Besides, I haven't even seen my dad in a couple days.

The Union contract expires at his plant on 8-26 so he's preparing to be locked in until they renegotiate..

We only got 3 minutes to get to class from another class.
5 minutes if it was a locker break. We were only allowed to go to our locker two times other than before and after school.. if they caught you any other time they got a bit pissy and yelled at you to get to class. Haha.
