It wasn't quite as serious as the Vet Tech made it seem over the phone.

Vet looked at him and *supposes* that he got some skin folded up in there during the neuter and the skin started to grow fur-- and it gave Rink an ingrown hair..
He had to open the area up and pull the skin loose. Rink was a bit dazed, but ishappily romping around the back yard again now...

We're so close! I bought fabric for my pirate costumes in December and still haven't finished any of them.. Whoops.

I'm gonna lay down and try to get some rest now. I'm exhausted and it's my day off! (No class OR work!)

*whew* glad it wasn't so serious. But I can see the trail of money you were leaving as you were jetting out the door of the ER.

I guess I could always go to the river.
'Cept I think something got psilled it.. they've had these boats out there spraying water and digging stuff up for a few days now. TOXIC!

I wish we did too! All we have are the three rivers. They are getting cleaner than they were. Or a 45 min drive to Lake Arthur in Moraine State PArk.

I just got back from the doctor and Kristin has the beginnings of asthma and a double ear infection and Emily has allergies. At least I know whats going on now and we got medicine to help.

I'm not a real big fan of the beach, actually. It's pretty. And I take lots of pictures. But sand and I don't get along.. it really, really annoys me. As does dirt, haha. The sand at the beaches in NC wasn't as annoying as the sand in FL because it wasn't as fine.. so it didn't get QUITE as annoying..
I'll stick with the pool in my backyard with it's nice, clean concrete border

I have been out of our loop for 4 days. I am going to attempt to catch up If there is anything I need to know, please PM me.

On a side note. The US government screwed up DS's passport. I put the check in with the passpost stuff and they lost it So now I have to overnite the minor form because I am petrified they won't let me take DS on the boat without permission from his father. I had to get his notarized permission for the passport and thought if I had that I wouldn't need the consent form.

I'm also having to bring my 16 page divorce decree but because we have joint custody (that's a joke) it MIGHT be a problem. You would think I'm the first divorced parent to take a kid on the Disney cruise line

Kerry, don't panic. I can't remember if you and I have already had this conversation, but I have a similar problem. I have NO contact with my exhusband, no mailing address, or phone number. Therefore, I am unable to get any kind of consent to take my boys on this cruise. Top that off with the fact that my divorce went through in NJ and I live in FL and there was barely a mention of custody. All I have is a sentence in my complaint for divorce that states the boys shall reside with me. Not one mention of the boys in the actual divorce. Needless to say, I have been a wreck, on and off since we've booked our cruise. I am so worried that I will get to the port and the boys won't be allowed on the ship. I've done nothing wrong, the boys are born and raised in FL, the farthest we have moved is a block down the road. Yet, I have to worry about taking my own children on a 4 night cruise?! I have spoken to DCL directly and explained my situation and they said I should not have a problem. I, too, am packing every legal document I have and am hoping and praying for the best. If we get on that ship and set sail, maybe you and I should order a nice strong drink to celebrate!!!

Finally, some closure! Logan was diagnosed with asthma a few years ago and for the most part, he has outgrown it. I have heard from a couple of doctors that it's possible so hang in there. He got slammed with bronchitis that never went away. He used to take Singular daily and he also had an inhaler for those times when the wheezing got really bad. He's been off the Singular for over a year and uses the inhaler a couple of times a year, usually when he's around pets that he isn't used to.
