Burdines is now Macy's. The mall is getting a complete overhaul of it's exterior. Lots going on in our area. Bonita/Estero is growing by leaps and bounds, new malls, movie theaters, everything....so they're trying to revamp our end because everyone is gravitating that way. In the past year we've gotten 4 or 5 Starbucks and a Beef O'Brady's sports bar just opened up down the road from us. You'd be amazed at how it's changed here. It's nothing like the place it was when I moved here in 1989!

I loved Burdines because of the sales from the clearance racks. I used to get name brand stuff cheap! I like Macy's too.

I moved in the summer of 2003. Bonita was just about to blow up. Beef O Brady's has some decent chicken wings. I used to love going to Hop's for their microbrewery and burgers. Yum!

I got my wristbands today! Very cute! I also got my passport today as well!!! Yeah! Jared's should be arriving sometime next week

I still haven't gotten my order from deadmentellnotales.com I ordered those before the wristbands. That makes me a tad nervous.

I learned how to find post counts from another thread *gasp!* You go to the thread title on the forum page. You go to the replies and click on it. It will show you the post count of all posters who've posted. Pretty cool huh? I just learned that yesterday or was it this morning?

Kerry, can you post a pic of your bracelets?

To be honest though, if I were your wife, I think I would be most in love with you during those times when you're out there fishing with the boys or dancing at the Girl Scout party with your daughter.... very sweet. Congratulations!

I second the motion! They are his kids too, but when he does something sweet or thoughtful for them, it melts me. All that gush with the signs and balloons would embarrass me. No thanks.

There are two versions. This is the one I had at a bar in Palm Beach:

3/4 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
3/4 oz Malibu Rum
1/2 oz Absolut Citron
2 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Sour mix
1 splash 7-Up

Mix well and pour over ice in tall glass.

Here is another version that has less ingredients. This is the one I will try out for the cruise prior to sailing. If it tastes as yummy, then for obvious reasons I will go with this:

Ingredients:
3/4 oz Midori melon liqueur
3/4 oz Malibu rum
Fill with Pineapple juice

Mixing instructions:
Fill glass with ice. Then add the Malibu and Midori. Then fill the remainder of the glass up with Pineapple Juice. Shake and enjoy!!


If I stick with the one I know then my big bottle of Absolut will be Citron which is cool cause I like that flavor. If the second one is good then I will probably bring Mandrin Absolute or the Ruby Red flavor.
