Well I have my 2 nieces today and wouldn't you know the 5 of them have kept themselves occupied all morning and now it's beginning "we want lunch" "can we go in the pool"blah blah blah You'd think I was the adult in charge or something geesh

Bye......................................................................

Well.. I went back and looked at the information Taeja added in her space savers and all thats fine with me.
I think it's the first time I noticed it asked me to be the DCL person, except I guess I'm a bit confused as to what that entails?
I'll be in FLA pre-cruise though so everything still works out the same. I'll spend a bit of time with my friend before the cruise.. the one I was living with.

Who do I need to give personal contact info to? And what kinda info do they need? Mike and I both have cell phones..so.. :-D

Anyway, I'm off to try to get some sleep.
I definitely feel like a mommy.. I can get Rink anytime between 3-6 and I'm taking the whooooole time and trying to get some sleep while he's being watched over by someone else :)

G'night.

Quickly....... Kerry don't forget about all my absolute I'm bringing You know you want to hang with me!!!! :rotfl2: pirate: pirate: pirate: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Alas, we have 5 people too... :sad1: It looks like a great place..maybe next time..
We will be sticking to our trip to the free beach (pic below)....

G'night.

Sheez, I just typed a huge reply and it disappeared.

What I just tried to say was...that we have an email list going of personal info....stateroom numbers, names/ages of people in your party, cell phone numbers in case we need to contact each other in an emergency while near port, as well as any other pertinent travel information about your trip (i.e. where you'll be staying prior to or following our cruise). Shirley from THE PERFECT GIFT gave me permission to include her contact information in case of a weather catastrophe near Port, as she is located nearby and can keep us abreast. If you are interested in joining this email list, pm or email me and give me any info your comfortable sharing, and I'll add you to our list and send you back the updated list. We are not posting this info publicly, only via email.

How are you getting there Bill? Where exactly is this beach? Does it have a name? Thanks for any info! :goodvibes

Our party is just 4. I was planning on enjoying a less crowded ship but thought this offer was just too nice, great way to see the hotel. I totally rationalized the cost after reading about everyones booked excursions, we don't have any! (Well, Palos for dinner and brunch might count for something!) I don't think DH understands why we'd pay for a night to go away from the ship we paid for but contrasting it to excursion costs may help me there. He's not a pool or beach person...... or a gambler so I've got my work cut out convincing him its a good idea. No matter now, its booked!

As for 80's night, I'm so ready for bed at 10 but will try to make it there 11-12, no chance for DH.

Maybe a party of 3 will want to go and could add one of your kids to their reservation, just a thought. There seems to be a lot of other stuff coordinated in this group, maybe you could work something out.

O.K. I see you guys are paying us back for the last couple of nights.

To answer some questions:

My DD's theme is a flip flop party. It is a pool party.

Kerry,
You are too funny about the restaurant food. We just got burned out after a couple of months. I usually love to go out to eat. I just wanted home cooking.

Just so you guys know Disney is having a big sale on all their swimsuit items and accessories. They are taking an additional $5.00 off each already reduced item at checkout. This is for the swimwear and accessory section. I just ordered a ton of stuff for DD(4). It should have been $180.00 and it came out to less than a hundred. Plus you get free shipping on anything over $75.00. I got some stuff for me and DD(10) also.

That's all I can think of right now. Oh Kerry, I don't think I will be sleeping the night of the party! :rotfl:

You can see the cruise ships, where we dock (upper left). You walk straight down the pier through the welcome center and into the straw market area(Bay street I think). If you continue through the marketplace you will see the British Colonial Hilton Hotel (orange roof in Pic) and McDonald's (red roof) there is a road (you can see it in pic with cars). Just walk on the sidewalk, follow the road, past the BCH and you will see a beach (center of pic). This is the free beach. It takes about 15 minutes. You will see something that looks like a retaining wall sticking out into the water. This is where we have gone in the past. This year,we want to walk down further (across from orange & blue hotel in pic). It is called Junkanoo Beach. You can also take a cab if you don't want to walk. The sandy area in the center of the pic to the bottom is Junkanoo Beach. It is used for Spring Break (I heard).

really fun mom- that's a good idea. any takers?

We are booked with a party of 4, the max. It was an idea for the family of 5 families to solicite family of 3 going, just a thought. Or if a party of 2 were going I don't think there is any additional charge to add young kids to reservation.

Oh, hello my new best friend! I am bringing a large bottle myself. However, it will be flavored. Either Manadrin, Citron or the new Ruby Red. Going to buy a small bottle of the Ruby Red this weekend to try it out :lovestruc

I can already hear the cla clink cla clink as you all will be walking though the terminal. Now the noise will be louder b/c how many of you will be toteing coolers? I thought those were steel drums I was hearing in 2004. Guess not. :lmao:

As I posted before,my 11 yr anniversary is Saturday. In past years, I have done things like make a 4'x8' Anniversary card (from a sheet of sheetrock) painted hearts and stuff and screwed it to the telephone outside our house..another year I made smaller signs stating that I love my wife and put them on several telephone polls along her route home from work..Last year I got 10 large mylar heart balloons and staked them all out on the front lawn while she was at work. Now that I have done this, my wife expects something out of the ordinary every year, which is not easy..I am coming up blank and running out of time...
any ideas?? :grouphug:
