Blackunicorn said:Awww, in my case my arches are too high, and I spent too long without proper arch supports. I'm not really completely sure of what happened, but the muscles are shortened, the arch tries to collapse, and the fatty pad on the bottom of my heel isn't all there anymore, so I'm walking on bone. I think. There are excercises I do to help stretch the muscles, I have arch supports, and for normal everyday walking I'm just fine. My feet can get sore, but nowhere near the can't-walk-or-I'll-pass-out pain I got when I was on my feet all day. I don't have any idea why my feet are still swollen two days later, that shouldn't have anything to do with the plantar fasciitis.
My DH is completely supportive. He'll do whatever I decide to do. But when I go over to the DISabilities board, I see people who have it soo much worse than I do, and I feel horribly guilty for even contemplating getting a wheelchair.![]()

I've traveled to the DISabilities forum before and I'm sure they'd support you as well. Don't let guilt get to you.
