When do you guys actually get the suitcases out and start putting stuff in?

The Sunday befor we leave. That way I will have time to purchase any items missed from my shopping oops I meant packing list.

I spent the weekend running like crazy! I did go shopping and DBF picked out something that I later realized I could wear to Pirate night. I am now the owner of a vintage looking t-shirt that has skull and crossbones on it. Can't wait to wear it for Pirate night.

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I am finally all caught up!!!! You guys are nuts on the weekend! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Thanks Dawn! I will show him when he gets home from work! You may have saved us!! :cool1: Thanks for thinking of us!

Naw, don't thank me--it's just one of those things I happened to see while I was on eBay. (Running around eBay buying stuff for the trip, thanks a lot guys! :rotfl: ) I private messaged the seller, asking if they could get the coat to you before the cruise, and this is what they said:

September 3rd? Not a problem! BUT...If ordered now, It will take a few weeks. I have a small waiting list. Thanks!

So you might want to send her the specific date that you need it by. Sheesh, at this rate, I'm almost willing to make the coat myself...except I haven't finished my hubby's coat, so I don't want to say I'll do something and run out of time! :earseek: And then the whole group would be mad at me the whole cruise, and I've already linked dining...the server would be like, "Hey, why's everyone in the whole dining room glaring at you?" and I'd say, "Oh, no reason...."

My husband wears a 16 so I know how you feel about finding shoes. Good thing you two never had kids. Can you say Shaq Jr. :rotfl: Are your son's feet big?

He is 7 years old 4'3" tall and weighs 66lbs. He wears a kids size 3. They don't look big but neither do mine. I'm 5'11" so people tend to think I wear a 9 or 10 typically. I can get a regular 12 in some shoes. My feet grew 1/2 a size when I had DS. Does that explain why he's an only child?

I thought I would wear this to Parrot Cay

What do you guys think?

My suitcases have been out for months, occupying the space under the window next to the bed. I started out putting things like space bags and an over-the-door laundry hamper in there. For the last month or so, when I see something from the laundry that I want for the trip, I snag it and put it in the suitcase. I figured, a month isn't that bad, so I'll start packing seriously when I finish my lists...

Hee hee.

I know. Like it wasn't frustrating enough. I LOVE shoes. One time I went to the Nine West outlet (not on purpose, went to Gap and saw Nine West and thought, what the heck) Ask the salesgirl and she saw yes we have 12's. I tried on 36 pairs of shoes. I think I experienced a shoe orgasm. I bought 8 pairs of shoes. They were BOGO 1/2 off. I had to!

Kevin wants to have a baby one day (he doesn't have any kids). I have no idea what I will do if it causes me to be a 12 1/2. I may have to wear boxes on my feet.

Don't worry about your son's feet. Kids feet seem to be getting bigger. I think it's all the hormones we eat in our food. My DD just turned 10 and she wears an adult 6 sometimes 7.

Taeja did you use them last time? I think your whole family will get one when you check in at the terminal as a repeat guest gift plus two pins each

No we did not, if we get lanyards this time around that would be great-wow bonus pins?! cool! It was a pain digging for my kttw card or carrying it in my pocket. That little piece of plastic is so valuable its maddening.

At least you're tall, I'm sure that helps them look proportionate to your height. My feet have grown over the years, too. Either that, or they've started making the shoes smaller. I'm not so sure that isn't true. In my 20s, I wore an 8. Now I'm a 9.5 or 10. That's a big difference. I'm 5'3 but I don't think my feet look unusually big either. They are what they are, what can ya do? My kids have big feet too though, the boys are on the short side but DD is tall.

I'm five pages beind you all. I'm going to have to play catch up later. Stay cool all!

Thanks. Hopefully, he'll like one of the coats she makes and we can just order it now. I was going to email the seller and ask the same thing, about the shipping time. I would tell her I need it by the end of August. Hopefully she could pull it off. If I can get him motivated, we could buy it tonight and be on our way with the whole thing.

LOL Nobody would get mad at you Dawn. Relax...no glaring.
